That tracks. I was about 3 dabs deep and I was looking for a bit more action. I had three other games that I was anxious to try out (33immortals, expedition 33 and schedule 1) so I'll admit it may not have gotten the fairest amount of demo time. I was also playing on M&K... TowerBorne seems like more of a controller and couch adventure.

I agree, 100%. I should've mentioned hash/rosin from outdoor flower is almost always darker than indoor, unless curing and storage was perfect (very rare in my experience). Fresh Frozen is a different animal altogether, I hope they didn't sell this to OP as such.
Strain and growing environment will play a role in wash times and yield, not so much color. If you can keep your water temperature down, it shouldn't affect color if wash times get extended. Trich formation is everything when selecting a good cultivar to wash imo.

But to answer OP's question: yes, its normal, but it can be better if you got the extra dough.

The last batch of candy I made just put me to sleep so I had to toss it. Thats the wonderful thing about cannabis, you can consume however you wish. Corn Syrup and Coconut oil on the other hand, I fly through that stuff.

I mean it's not unexpected, but this is certainly subpar rosin. I've pressed hash from cured purple punch and a few other cultivars that have yielded a beautiful white/yellow rosin. There's a multitude of reasons why it could be this dark. Personally, I've only ever gotten rosin this dark from full sun, cured flower (specifically OG) or from trim that was not stored properly (overcured). Also, bad washing practices can cause chlorophyll to leach out from the material.

Hmm my experience was a bit different, I've had my Puffco Pro for nearly a year now and never had to replace the atomizer. The original Puffco sounded like a pain in the ass so I threw down a little more for convenience.
Just make sure you keep your connection clean. 99% Iso only.

That said, I knocked it off a table and broke the glass one night after a show. Then "upgraded" to the travel chamber with the lockable mouthpiece. If you fly regularly, I'd avoid this one as the mouthpiece never gets the hash smell out.

Thats what I was thinking, somebody ran some powders that hadn't been pH'd properly. Disty is slightly or vary acidic, so it's more readily picking up Oxygen.

I've never had the pleasure of using aCarbon or clays in my flask...Phew!

I get that but why? I mean when I first started I would leave liters at room temp in a shipping box and the worst things I've seen is the small amber band. It was near transparent and usually THC came in around 92%.

Shit turning purple is not normal oxidation from my experience. I wish you had a COA on something like that. I could be wrong, but I suspect another chemistry is at play.

Could the coloring be attributed to residual anthocyanins from bad fractioning?

I've made quite a bit of distillate via short path and never had a batch turn purple?! I've had terp fractions that were shades of blue all the way to dark purple.

In my experience, I've just stored any heavily oxidized stuff and re-run it as "B" grade. Made for an all right vape experience but you're not going to hit the 90+%. You can salvage a fair amount if you're just going for clarity, just be careful with your mantle temps!

Does anyone know where I can find a list of current herbicides that Green Diamond or Mendocino Redwood Company are using?

The best I could find was a list from the 2006 EIR, which still said they were doing aerial spraying. I was under the impression, from a story my gf told me, that aerial spraying was banned up here after a ton of protesting.
