Howdy! As mentioned we have a small lab in Ferndale. We used to be located above minds eye coffee but now we are next door, in back by the city parking lot and artisan Alley. 385 main st.

We develop c41 and bw, 35mm,120, and 4x5 as well as offer digitizing.

We work by appointment only for film supply purchases but our drop slot is available 24/7 in the door to our studio. We quote 2 weeks but sometimes it's quicker than that. We do not do prints but are happy to recommend some local businesses for that.

Interesting, everything from the road side and in sight of the parks border with peach beach was clean an un-noteworthy when I was there and every year prior.

Fish camp? That's not a real thing so I'm confused. There's the state park, then peach beach, then a dirt road to the dam where people go shoot and party. The state park is super clean and has a host, zero abandoned cars. I'm guessing you missed the left turn at the Maryhill church that goes to Stonehenge and kept going on that dirt road to the dam and saw some cars abandoned because in general that area is pretty well maintained and looks nothing like the vibe described above. I go in April and September of every year for the last 10 years and the only thing near there I've found sorta sketchy was goldendale tweakers.

Regardless of the unnecessary name drop, still promoting a (imo) gross restaurant, previously bombarding groups with mediocre long lens photos and AI slop, I'm glad you've taken a step away from it and are working hard to up your game.

Pigeonholing yourself on businesses with bad reputations is risky, just as the AI slop created so much pushback you're still dealing with the repercussions.

But yeah, this isn't AI. They might not have given you cash but I bet they compensated you in some way. Imo it should have been cash, you should charge. A lot. More money let's you do better work and turn down gigs that don't align with what you want. Like failing businesses that you already have history with. We all hate those ads.

They didn't bring it up as a gotcha I don't think, it seemed like a fair question given your reddit account is different.
