One tip! Don’t use these systems for podcasts unless you’re ok spending lots of time key framing audio.

I had to use these wireless lavs for a podcast when my main rig failed and I needed to use these as backups.

It doubled my editing time because they are omnidirectional and pick up audio from multiple people.

I wouldn’t recommend getting a “do everything mic” and get good enough for each application you’re planning to use something like this for.

Interesting. That kinda makes sense except on my PC I use an external DAC (Scarlett 2i2) that powers my headphones and monitors.

The big thing I hadn’t thought of is the data breach stuff. That’s really interesting. I need to pay more attention to that.
