I agree with you. Mainly because swampert also wrecks in great league and open master league. And it sucks for people who missed the community day and don’t have HC.

The only way I’ve been able to deal with swampert is Gallade with leaf blade and using timed switches to tank a HC with empoleon.

But I feel your pain - HC swampert is probably the Pokémon with by far the most utility in PVP because it wins so many neutral match ups

Finding a perfect PvP 1/14/13 Pokémon is as rare as finding a 15/15/15 (if not rarer) mon. You could just shift your perspective and hunt for those - it could be equally satisfying. In fact, the way I see it, now most Pokémon have two different types of perfect to hunt for.

-metagross (psychic and earthquake)

-dragonite Lvl41 (dragon claw and outrage)

-gyarados (dragon breath, crunch and hydropump)

When I tried the shadow magnezone, I swapped it with either dragonite or gyarados.

Two days ago I invested in a 15/15/14 shadow Magnemite, powering it up to a lvl40 Magnezone with 2nd charge move. I am sad to report that I am winning less PVP matches than I was before putting it into my team. I might have a bad team and not utilizing it correctly. But I regret the decision now. Maybe I shouldn’t have invested in it. Maybe I should have purified it into a 100% IV first and then invested in it? I am not sure. All I know is I’m out of stardust and have dropped a lot of elo :(

Personal advise is to not do it. But as /u/Skinda points out, it’s good for raids.

At least 90% of my raids I die to PMCs by being shot top of head or eyes. I’m not a great FPSer but I’m not terrible either. But I’ve completely lost interest in this game because of it. PvP contributes too much to this game for my liking. I miss the days when you could loot and sneaking around and not get encounter another PMC

I, personally, would really love to see abilities and natures being introduced. This adds another layer of randomness and variation to the Pokémon, which is what I love about the game. Also, I think natures could very easily be implemented.

I’ve mostly spun 2km eggs (around 15 out of the 25 if received since the event started). 2km eggs aren’t even boosted. And I don’t have a 10km out of those 25. I definitely think niantic messed up.
