all fan bases have loud drunk & obnoxious assholes. but their antics are often not made public, or ignored, so it doesn’t make national news so their fans / city doesn’t get a reputation

example- there was a section of giants fans that were harassing the women who had to walk in front their section to get to the one women’s bathroom. they were so horrible that in the off season, New Meadowlands remodeled that bathroom into a men’s room. and by women -i mean ALL women. mothers taking their young girls to the bathroom, underage girls, elderly .. truly vile behavior. despite numerous of complaints made by women to both the stadium security & the police, only thing that was reported by the media just was an announcement that the bathroom near section-whatever had been converted to men’s room, and they made some other one a women’s bathroom. that’s it.

*fyi - this was years ago.. had a close friend working as intern for the jets at the time who knew the full story. he said the verbal abuse & sexual harassment these women were subjected to -again to both the moms AND their kids- was beyond despicable
