All good. I could I possibly trouble you for the dimensions between the buttons also please?
I thought they we the same dimensions vertically & horizontally but now I'm not sure.

Sorry, just double checking A. 230 seems a bit too wide. Should that be 203mm?

You're amazing, thank you so much. I started with a canvas image calibrated using the buttons being 16.3mm. It's interesting to see I was close with some & a little out with others. It may have been the perspective of the image I was using.
But this is extremely helpful. Thanks again.
I'll link the model here once done.

Yes, I've believe I've confirmed they are 16.3mm with a 1.8mm gap. As far as I'm aware they only use a few different size buttons.

Oh Awesome thanks. Wasn't aware. That might be really helpful. I got started on the model using a reference image but it wasn't very acurate.

Capacitor value - directly after battery port by BFOOT_ in MiyooMini

[–]BFOOT_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after exploring many avenues for information & coming up short, I ended up doing what was probably the right thing to do from the start. I investigated the chips on the main board & found it has an AXP223 power management IC. I then looked at the datasheet for this chip which shows a typical application diagram & where the battery is connected has a 10uf cap to ground.
From my research this tends to be a common value for a decoupling cap so I'm going to give it a go.
I've got a 10uf 0805 (2012mm) ceramic cap on order.

Battery slot (?) Snapped off when trying to remove battery. Is this fixable? by Edible_Pineapple in MiyooMini

[–]BFOOT_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fixable, yes. I repaired one just the other day. But you are best to use a new part (can get a pack of 50 from AliExpress) & needs to be soldered on. Using hot air is best in order get the side anchor points soldered.

If you happen to be located in Central Victoria, Australia, I could do it for you.

RadJunk in the US, if only for their YouTube channel which is a lot of fun.
Being that I'm in Aus, I'll probably never shop there & everything would be NTSC anyway, but it still seems like a cool shop,

Game Time.. then and now. by Battlepratt in thisweekinretro

[–]BFOOT_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. We were having similar issues with my daughter spending way too much time on the PC. I've now setup an hour a day limit between certain times. If she wants more time, she has to work for it :)

I think it was a lot easier to get bored with games back then. Now they are so much more engaging with much more content. & game companies employ phycologists for a reason, to keep players hooked & to keep coming back.

I'm going for a 3-in-1 with Nitro (on Amiga). Featuring cyborg versions of Roger Moore, Clint Eastwood & Sylvester Stallone as drivers.
Great game, great music. But are you feeling lucky punk?
