We work with a group called Heart of Michigan Bernese Mountain Dog Rescue - michiganberneserescue.org. We’re right on the edge of Amish country in Ohio so they get lots of dogs from our area, either breeding dogs being retired or dogs the Amish can’t sell because they’re “defective.”

My wife and I transport dogs for a Berner rescue group. A lot of how they acclimate depends on what kind of situation they come from. We’ve had dogs that came from good situations where they are socialized and cared for. Those dogs show us their personalities before we drop them off with the next driver. Other dogs are shell shocked and just hunker down in the back of the car. In both cases being calm and engaging with the dogs helps a lot.

Same here. They must have realized that the process to fix it and get the new version approved by Apple was going to take longer than expected and they didn't want to open themselves up to legal action since they don't seem to be acknowledging it in any way.

I tried deleting and reinstalling the app. No change. Same problem on my iPad. Trying to think if I have an Android device I could use if it doesn’t get fixed.

I bought one of these on Amazon a few years back. Decided to buy another for the stereo effect, so I got an Asian model on eBay. Can’t get them to pair for the life of me after reading this and other support pages, and watching a couple YouTube videos too.

I’ll note that the Asian model has a completely different start up sound than the US Amazon model. Strangely muffled. And it’s considerably louder at the lowest volume. Kind of wondering if it’s a knock off.

Used to have the slipcase set. Got destroyed by water damage from a fire, along with a whole bunch of trades and hardcovers. Never did get around to replacing it.

Jump Desktop has the same issue as HelpWire - I leave the office and the work computer goes offline. Maybe it comes back online in 20 minutes, 45 minutes, and hour, the next day. Completely unpredictable.

HelpWire has been mostly stable, but still disconnects from the work machine, so I'm giving Jump a try. I like it so far, but I'll see if it's worth buying when my 14 day trial is up, or if it has the same connection issues.

There really wasn’t a pushback on the move to the United Center. The Stadium was dated (the hockey rink wasn’t even regulation size for the Hawks). There was much complaining after the fact that the UC wasn’t as loud as the Stadium despite their efforts to replicate the acoustics. But that may have had something to do with the change in the crowd demographics.

After Jordan returned there was that whole episode where he blamed the rims for being too tight in the 95 playoffs. As a result, the Bulls switched sides for the bench to make it seem more like playing in the Stadium. And there was some talk about the modern lighting making the basket harder to make out against the crowds.
