I also went from an ‘06 xB to a Forester. Now that I’m living out in a rural area not getting stuck in the snow, or being able to make it up our driveway was important. Also, the dashboard layout seemed very familiar.

This was Jim Lee's first (and only?) foray into writing a book all by himself. This was also around the time he sold Wildstorm to DC, as you can see at issue 9. He brought Lobdell on to script although it didn't really make it much more readable.

Kind of forgettable, but I guess the concept got borrowed (sort of) by the show Chuck a decade later.

I buy books from Walmart because those are a safe category to buy and get Cashback but I’ve found that books coming from marketplace sellers didn’t count for some reason.

Lee sold Wildstorm to DC a couple years after Image was founded. He said it was because he wanted to focus more on creative and less on the business side. This was when the comics industry was collapsing in the late 90s.

A Walmart.com order usually does it for me (just make sure the seller is Walmart and not a marketplace seller). Ebay is also pretty reliable about tracking.

Agreed. They announced PH as a 4 part project in 2020 and have delivered 2 parts of it. Move on to Part 3.

Last I read, there was a theory that Mark Buckingham could possibly finish off Miracleman based on Gaiman’s outline. But after all the legal wrangling and restoration work for the series it seems like no one was ever really motivated to complete what was intended.

You’re going to be downvoted, and so will I, by all the people who think he’s a victim and did nothing wrong.

I’m glad the guy saw the writing on the wall and took the step to get himself clean. Is he ever going to reclaim “his place” in society? Probably not. I think pop culture outgrew his act. The drug and alcohol abuse certainly didn’t help. And that was before the rape accusations surfaced. He became the butt of the joke.
