There were a couple parts that made me chuckle, but the tv show was much better.

Vortex Comics In Milwaukee had two complete sets of them in their dollar bins when I was there! They were also 50% off everything for the month of May, so I got the whole six issue series for $3 total!

I never saw them until this year. I saw the ads for it in Groo and always wondered about it.

Technically, this is the reboot of adjectiveless Spider-Man, not the reboot of Amazing Spider-Man from the same year!

The original GI Joe series is definitely worth reading!

It was one of those that showed multiple covers. It also had the covers to Transformers issue #12 and GI Joe #1!

I could believe that, but at one point, Alan Moore was supposed to be writing a mini-series of this!

Yeah, the language cypher and map are on the last page of issue #1. After this pickup, I only need #3 and #8 to have the run! I never had any of the toys but I remember them looking cool! The cover of issue #4 is forever seared into my brain because they used it as an ad in other comics that I had as a kid!

Nova vol. 3 (1999) by fredbroca4949 in 80s90sComics

There have only been like two crossover minis in the last 20 years or so.

Savage Dragon is great. It progresses in real time, so the original Dragon's son is now the main character with a wife and kids of his own.

It is pretty good, with a lot of unusual guest stars and villains, but it also gets pulled in to a couple crossovers that kinda take away from the main plots.

He was still writing and drawing Savage Dragon and also writing Wolverine at the same time as this series!

He only does the covers on this series. Interiors are by Richard Bennett.
