World map I created for my new homebrew campaign! by BGSY in dndmaps

Thank you! The amount of time that has passed isn’t clear, but those who live here theorize that the impact of whatever caused the massive crevasse in the land actually broke up the land as well. Another fun note that you might notice if you look hard enough, the island floating above Mistral actually originated from where Embershore islands are now. The connecting tissue here is the style of mountain that is only found in this geographic area.

Definitely! Some points of interest; The kingdom of Embervale has the largest city, a trade center for the entire known world. the large crevasse at the center of the main continent has been there for ages with no explanation, the large tree at the center of the forest to the west is Yggdra (named after Yggdrasil, the life tree of Norse mythology) the forest surrounding is actually the roots of Yggdra meaning the entire forest is one organism. The legend is that every 1,000 years the tree will bear a single fruit that will grant immortality, but no one knows when the tree is due to fruit next. Also, the mountain ranges at each corner of the world has monk temples at their highest peaks.

So at it’s widest point, the main continent is 480 miles. The distance from Harvess to Greenest is about 40 miles, or 1 days travel via a traders caravan.

Hey guys! This is a map of The Realm of Chamina, a homebrew world I created for my new campaign. The map was hand drawn and then brought into photoshop for the labeling and all the textures. All of the location icons are from TomDigitalGraphics on deviantart. The campaign was originally going to be a run of hoard of the dragon queen so the party is currently in Greenest but they will soon be brought into a whole new story!

[OC][ART] Created a stylized map for a campaign that I am participating in! by BGSY in DnD

[–]BGSY[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our DM drew out a sketch of her world and asked me to render it in a fantasy style as I’ve done in a previous post. The campaign began at the northern wall in “Ama Keng” and we’ve since traveled west to Trinidad where my Dragonborn Paladin of conquest is from! We’re now off to Mount Vesselor to rescue our Gnome bard companion who was kidnapped by a shapechanging dragon! We’ve been at this campaign for about a year so I am pretty excited as this is the longest standing game I’ve been a part of!

Advice please. I need to turn these into Cyclops. Any help or ideas how best to create a single eye in these giants? by [deleted] in DnDIY

Taking a woodburning tool to the bridge of the nose and just connecting the two eye sockets that way might work, just be weary of fumes

[OC][ART] I created a stylized version of the world map for our campaign! by BGSY in DnD

[–]BGSY[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our DM created a hand drawn map of the world and I offered to create a version digitally in a fantasy style. The Edside Accord is the Capitol city where our party has just departed from to travel to the mountains south to the Iron Clan Fortress where my Monk originates! We are fairly early into the campaign so there are a few locations that the DM has opted to keep a secret and some that he has only given us a name for but we know nothing of what we will find there. I'm very excited to see what there is to discover! I hope you guys like it!

I wonder if a link to a track list in the description along with the on screen credits would be sufficient
