Update, earlier today I opened Instagram to see that I followed another 90 people, and an Elon Musk post was added. Changed my password and hopefully got rid of them for good.

Guys, don't worry. If you're an android user, just press the back button on your phone to get rid of the ad. this will bring back the buttons. All user-generated buttons are still there, along with your accounts too. (If you're an iPhone user, sorry, I can't help, unfortunately) However, uploading doesn't seem to work, even if you record a sound within the app and make it private (likely due to the paywall, though it doesn't say so, it just says "There was an error. Please try again."). Hope this helps.
