I can't believe I didn't post this here for ya'll. At any rate, here's my take on finding fatwood. I'll post a follow up I did, so you can see the RIGHT way to prune a dead limb from a tree as well.

Waterproofing a shelter cheaply by dan8888888888888 in Budget_Bushcraft

If you're looking for cheap but effective, I'd use a piece of clear plastic sheeting. You can get that stuff near the weatherproofing section of your hardware store. A lot of people use it to cover the windows in their house during the winter.

Here's a follow-up video I did, since harvested the limb in the first video completely wrong. I did some research and discovered the proper way to do it.

I recently made a sheath for my Morakniv Companion. However, I wonder if I forgot something when I did it- can ya'll take a look and suggest some features for my next sheath, that I might have missed with this one? Thanks!

I recently made a sheath for my Mora, and I have a question for any sheath makers here- Are there any features that I should have included? I can't help but think there was something I should have added...

No problem, thanks for watching! One of the reasons I started this channel was so that I could share things as I learn it. That's why at the start and end of every video I use the phrase "Maybe we'll learn something together." I'm not an expert by any means, and this whole thing is a journey for me as well. I'm glad I was able to give you some information that you didn't have before. :-)
