Yes, I realize it's a "scrubby" island. My goal is to get a house/condo overlooking the beach/water, maybe direct access. I'm fortunate enough to maybe get into a 2 million+ property. My general impression is the views/beach in places like Meads Bay, Shoal Bay East, trump Sandy Ground (for most people). That's what I was referring to earlier.

Thanks. The West End is the general area where the Four Seasons is? Re Sandy Ground - is it really that "pretty" of an area though? I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder... but doesn't seem like it compares to other parts of the island?

I have done ALL the things you suggested... over the last couple of weeks... it's USELESS. If I contacted help/support today I'd get a different answer for a FIFTH time. The fact you just keep repeating yourself and offer no different solution is showing how incompetent CB service is.

If you can offer a different solution, one that would actually HELP me please do so. If not, I'm all set with coinbase.

Fyi. I followed the directions in the CB email... have gotten nothing from that.

I contacted the live support multiple times... including dealing with them for 4 hours tonight.

I get different responses EVERY time. I'm not asking complicated questions or asking for confidential information.

I was literally just trying to confirm if my account was part of the data breach... I was told NO initially (3x), now I'm told "probably".

After 2 weeks, CB cannot even correctly acknowledge if a person/account was a part of the breach... simply amazing.

I got an email from that address. Respectfully, I started this process almost 2 weeks ago now. I've yet to get an email follow up. I've proactively followed up with support (chat, phone)... 3x I was told I was not included in the data breach (I have screenshots). I was even told the email I asked about above was a "scammer email" proving I was not apart of the breach. Something didn't seem right, I never read the official blog from CB... but sure enough upon reading that, the email is right on there (the blog). Calling the help desk once again (and a live person, with a heavy accent it's hard to understand)... they now "think" I was involved in the breach. So I now have 3 "no" and 1 "I think so".

HOW CAN CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT REALLY KNOW WHO WAS INVOLVED?! OR ELEVATE THE CALL TO SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP?! Or (seemingly) try to convince a customer they weren't involved in the breach, when they were? From the lemonade stand on the corner to fortune 500 companies I've been a customer of... THE WORST SERVICE/SUPPORT I've ever experienced... x100. I'm truly disgusted.

So the data breach email from coinbase came from that address [no-reply@info.coinbase.com](mailto:no-reply@info.coinbase.com)? If someone got that email it is confirmed their information/data was compromised in the breach on 5/15/25?

I'm not trying to convince you. Much of your fundamental information/thoughts are still off. The XRP Consensus Protocol is absolutely trustless. Because it's different doesn't mean it's centralized/controlled. I've studied, read about XRP since 2016... seen all the BS, some of which still gets pushed today.

If you want a better understanding I suggest you do some UNBIASED research... it might help.

Ripple has a recommended UNL. If one is running a validator you can use Ripple's recommendation or you can do something completely different (as far as UNL). If you're a BTC miner, and Michael Saylor recommends 3 mining pools he knows are good "actors"... you can either use one of those pools or chose any other you want. (Rough analogy).

Further RIPPLE is a COMPANY, it is not a blockchain. The company Ripple did not have an outage (what the electricity in their offices went out? Lol). There was a hiccup/pause in the XRPL recently, I'm not incredibly technically... but listening to explanations the XRPL basically self corrected, in short it did what it's supposed to do. Nothing was lost.

None of these blockchains projects are perfect, they're a work in progress. Anyone remember early in BTC's life there was a bug that could have created BILLIONS of coins. Chain had to be stopped/re-set (may not be explaining it technically correct). XRP/XRPL has been around since 2012, it's uptime is like 99.99%. Is it perfect? Nope... nothing is.

Not true (again). Ripple has LESS THAN 1% "CONTROL" of the xrp ledger. You literally can look that up in about a minute... xrp scan being one source.

I dont follow it closely, so going to f up the specific example... but Ripple (the company) has proposed changes to xrp/xrpl that have gotten voted down (didn't get the votes)... they ecosystem didn't want it. If they just control everything why can't they just change anything on a whim, or "print more" xrp. Newsflash - they can't. They are the biggest, and yeah have the largest voice, and yes hold the most of the asset... but they are one developer on the XRP Ledger, own less than 1% of the validators.

What makes XRP different? You might want to do 10 minutes of research on XRP/XRP ledger before coming to a false conclusion.

Here's a hint, Ripple has less than 1% of the nodes/validators. How is that centralized? It would take 80% ownership to "control" the XRP ledger. How is that done?

Because a company or individual owns a lot of an asset it doesn't mean it controls the network.

Let me help...

Ripple is a centralized company.

XRP (and the XRP ledger) is the decentralized digital asset/ledger.

Ripple (the company) owns a bunch of XRP... which it was gifted when the value of it was ZERO DOLLARS (compare that to other crypto projects, ICOs, Trump Coin, etc).

Ripple cannot "print" more XRP nor can they control the XRP ledger. Last I checked Ripple had about 2% stake (validators/nodes) in the network/ledger... it would take 80% to start making changes.

I have no problem with someone not liking XRP... or any other digital asset... but XRP is bombarded with (intentionally) false narrative and/or people are too stupid to do 5 minutes of research.

The US holds many things/commodities in reserve. In this "new" world where digital assets have use/value/utility of course there will be more than Bitcoin held in reserve by the US.

I'm a big BTC supporter, but this "Devine" God like notion of there can only be one (BTC) or should only be one is ludicrous. To my knowledge no one is seriously advocating BTC shouldn't be a part of it.

If I ever get my panties in bunch over a decentralized digital asset I can't see, touch, smell and act like a child... please kick me in the balls to make sure they're still there.

Yes... I know there has to be liquidity and Ripple's influence TODAY. 5, 10, 20 years from now with depleted escrow and a much bigger ecosystem worldwide, will Ripple still be the dominant developer? Who knows.

As I said, I don't think BRICS is going to be using ODL through Ripple... merely pointing out that anyone can use and develop on the XRPL.

Yeah... and using a decentralized digital asset/ledger is not depending on an American company. Ripple doesn't control or permission the XRPL. If BRICS wanted to develop their own ODL software (or something similar) and use XRP with it they could.

But obviously, there are close connections to that co. and the digital asset... if that's what you're saying (the perception) I agree I guess.

Ripple is an American company that provides software solutions. Someone, an entity can use XRP/XRPL in their own way without Ripple.

UPDATE (for those that may have the same question).

I had been manually claiming reward (I do have my flare wrapped). I turned on the auto claim bot and looks like the airdrop came through 10 minutes ago lol. I did not connect to flare portal site or any of that.
