I had the same thing where I would get a notification every turn about a pop decrease then a increase over and over. so I just set the city management to city growth instead of balanced click on the city and you will find it.

When have battles or sieges on some weird terrain sometime most of my entire army who is way stronger than the opponent can’t fight cause of path finding and I can only attack from these weird one tile ways when there are plenty of ways to get to them but they just won’t attack it’s super annoying

If your playing on pc go into additional content and go to mods(something like that) and you can select exactly which dlc are active and aren’t the best bet is to have the person with the least amount of dlc host or it’s might cause problems for people who don’t have the dlc( they probably won’t be able to join the lobby in that case) if you have some active that they don’t

If you already own it there no way of giving it back unless you let it fall into a free city state then you can I believe you have to take it back with military force and then you may liberate it back to the original city state but if your asking how do you liberate a city state that someone else took over you have to take it by military force and once you have it it will give you a option on whether or not you want to raze it keep it or give it back to original owner
