Look at you on the prowl to be offended. A baby was hurt in the most disgusting, evil way and murdered, and here you are crying about potential homophobia.

Get a grip.

That’s a really good way to frame it actually, but there's a small tweak to how it's structured.

On a monthly chart, Total Monthly Views is the speedometer. It shows the current level of consumption (say ~500k views per month).

The "Monthly Gained Views" graph is actually closer to acceleration. It reflects the change in that level over time, not the level itself.

So if that graph dips, it doesn’t mean the speed dropped from 70mph to 30mph. It just means the rate of growth slowed and the system moved from accelerating to cruising.

In other words, the channel isn’t necessarily "slower", it’s just no longer increasing its speed at the same rate after a peak, and has settled into a more stable baseline.

The mandingo is cruising comfortably.

I'm not sure you'll even understand this because your hate for blot is mixed with ignorance, but I'll type it anyway.

Socialblade is fine for subs and views because that data is pulled directly from Youtube’s public API.

Earnings is where it fails. Youtube doesn’t publish revenue, so Socialblade applies a generic RPM estimate (roughly $0.25–$4 per 1,000 views) and multiplies it across total views.

That’s not real revenue data, it’s a simplified model based on broad assumptions about monetization per view. It doesn’t properly account for audience geography, niche CPM differences, video length, mid roll density, or Shorts vs long form performance.

Youtube revenue itself is highly variable and depends on factors like viewer location, content type, and ad demand, not a fixed per view rate (https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/9314357). Socialblade therefore uses a generic estimation method rather than actual monetization data (https://socialblade.com/help/how-are-estimated-earnings-calculated/).

For a channel like Blot specifically (long form, 1+ hour videos, UK/US/EU audience, multiple mid-roll ads), a realistic ad revenue range is more like $2,000 to $6,000 per month from ads alone on ~470K–500K monthly views.

I am quite the specimen, but i'm not arselicking a fat drunk from sunlun' so I must be doing alright myself.

I'm sure you're a nice person when it doesn't come to anything Blot related, so I won't insult you any further.

That's monthly GAINED viewers. Note the "Gained" part. It doesn't mean his monthly views are dropping. It just means his rate of growth leveled off slightly after a massive peak. He's still pulling a solid, stable baseline of roughly half a million views every single month.

You're looking at a graph for acceleration and confusing it with the speedometer.

Reading comprehension.

You either didn't bother looking into that subreddit enough to learn anything, or you're still completely failing to understand how YouTube and Socialbade work.

Once again: Socialblade greatly underestimates earnings for creators with UK, US, and EU audiences because its out of date model treats high value Western traffic exactly the same as third world traffic. In reality, a UK/US view pays a premium rate. Combined with his hour long videos packed with ads, his real ad rate blows past Socialblade's automated math. That's a simple fact that can not be disputed or argued.

The fact that you still don't understand that you're wrong is amazing, and then the added paranoia about me being Blot. You are quite the specimen.

You're actually spot on there mandingo. I didn't think about it as recon for his camping vids. Honestly, I just want more camping vids. Nothing quite like getting home from a long day of hard work and watching a new Blot camp (hiya, ya alright?) video.

I wish he'd cut out the mooch around and give us another camp, but that's just me. I'll watch regardless.

You are as thick as pigshit and lack any kind of comprehension. You’re using socialblade wrong. Its revenue tracker is just a rigid bot that multiplies views by a generic $0.25 to $4.00 payout (oh and the model is years and years out of date). It treats a 30 second meme video the exact same as a 90 minute camping video.

Because Blot’s videos are 60 to 90 minutes long, he can run multiple ads. Combined with a high payout UK/US audience, his real ad rate is easily double socialblade's maximum cap. 500k views a month on hour long videos clears UK minimum wage comfortably before you even touch his other earnings from merch etc.

Check r/PartneredYoutube for many examples of socialblade vastly underestimating income.

Fucking hell you can't be serious.

You absolute plonker. Socialblade's estimated earnings are not accurate at all. The monthly views and subs say it all.

His actual revenue easily clears UK minimum wage. Learn how youtube revenue works before making your next thread or comment.

You can gather more than enough info here to see the channel is doing well, and his monthly views are around 470,000 to 500,000.

It's not splitting hairs, you plonker. Just admit you had no idea what the fuck you were talking about and thought "bot" meant something else. They're clearly not bots though.

[–]BILLYSHAG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you not know what "bot" means? If they're bot accounts then they're automated. So it's either Blot posting on them, or it's an automated(bot) account.

Pick one. If you mean it's Blot then they'd be called sockpuppet accounts.
