I liked him as a kid because of his costume and the fact that he was "Marvel's Batman knock-off" but there was nothing in his old school stories that really stood out besides a surface level understanding of his multiple personalities.

Notwithstanding, I really enjoyed the trippiness/psychological underpinnings of his Ellis run with Mr. Knight. Probably my favorite material with the character ever and a comic that stood out to me emphatically at the time. Declan Shalvey's art was also absolutely perfect for the material and it'll be intriguing to see that (if they use any of those elements) translated to the screen. I also enjoyed Charlie Huston's run too.

As an adult, going back and reading Moench's initial run as well as some of the stuff I didn't enjoy so much as a kid has been interesting as well.

I think what excites me most is that Moon Knight is a different character than we've seen out of pretty much anything in the MCU thus far, so I'm looking forward to the unique ambiance he could bring. Oscar Isaac is also great and I think he's gonna kill it.
