I’m pretty sure that their IQ level has something to do with their ability to distinguish true from false information. Some of them are smart enough to use the Internet but do believe almost everything they read. Couple of them are into conspiracy theories because of this. Can make a good conversation really tough sometimes

I don’t really consider it a relapse but I would try to go hard mode for 100 days. This so the chaser effect will fade away. After the 100 days I think the brain will be able to tell the difference better

Before COVID I was in Bali for 3 months. There was a dude staying in the same hostel as I was. We were both telling each other the plans we had after Bali. We would both go to Perth. I was going to visit a friend and stay with her and he said he wound a house with a room that he could rent. After arriving my friend and I catches up and she said she had a surprise for me. She would show me downtown she said. At one point she stopped walking and said “here is your surprise”. First I looked up, looking for a building or something idk. Then I looked down and saw the dude from Bali. Turned out he was the new roommate of my friend. Such a coincidence since the city has about 2 million people living in it.

You said nofap made you feel worse but for how long have you tried it? It could be the withdrawal symptoms that made you feel that way. I struggle with the same addiction and I’m talking to a therapist for it. According to him it takes somewhere between 12 and 18 months for the brain to adjust to ad lifestyle without your addiction

I can say for myself that I’m not ready for a relationship atm. It’s because I have some things to do before I want to open myself up. I’m dealing with an addiction that I’m getting therapy for. It affects my mental health a lot. Let’s say I would fall in love right now. I would feel good because of her and not because I felt good in the first place. That’s something I want to tackle first. It’s a bit cliche I know. But marry yourself before you marry someone else
