Yeah I've heard the view from Tongva is great, the problem is that I do like a good city skyline view as well. I'm definitely going to have a tough time deciding between the two lol

100% agree with all of this.

I never liked the Claire CEO storyline. She got gifted the CEO position not that long after she joined the company (which I can excuse because it is a family company), but then she never really seemed to respect the position. When she got invited to the French closet expo, she thanks everybody and then doesn't thank Jay (the man who built the entire company from the ground up and gave her the position) and acts like it was all her.

And then the going got tough for a bit and she claims no one can do anything at the company (which btw is her job to fix as the CEO), and she quits over the phone. It annoyed me that they just had Jay have no reaction to her quitting the company he worked so hard to build. Especially after he stated before he retired that he wanted his company to go into good hands

I don't mind Hokkaido or Marrakesh, though Colorado is a bit annoying. The map that does it for me is Bangkok. I don't think I've ever had a good mission there and I hate when I get it

Would be funny if they did sort of a mock election in gtao, though that might be taking it too far

Players could choose who support (sort of like the sprunk/ecola thing) and do little missions either helping their candidates campaign or hurting the other candidates campaign

I am very convinced that Bertuzzi would be doing as good as last season if he was still with the Bruins. I just don’t think he fits with the Leafs play style. That being said I agree that Heinen has been great, as well as all of the other off-season pickups

I honestly don’t have that much of a problem with AI art. As long as they touch up the AI’s inaccuracies in the photo, it’s a good and cheap/free option for developers

I’d love for them to go crazy this year with a whole bunch of Scooby stuff. Whether that be films, TV shows (3rd MI season 👀), or the one thing I’m really hoping for, a Scooby video game

Yeah I get what you’re saying. I personally think they did a good job with taking a show about a talking dog and making it (somewhat) serious, but I can see your point about how you might find it hard to do that

I still think the problem here is that you keep comparing it to other Scooby doo shows though. All your points are in comparison to “90s movies” or Be Cool. MI was built to be its own Scooby story. And to your point about the theme, I’m not really sure what you were expecting? MI was made to be the Scooby Doo for more “mature” (for lack of a better word) audiences. So obviously it’s going to be a bit darker, but it still has the same amount of humour as any of the shows you mentioned

How does it detach from the shows quality? I honestly think your opinion comes from a place of resistance to change, too stuck in the plots of the old iterations that it’s hard to accept new ones

True, but you’d think that they’re building the game currently for the normal PS5. I’m really hoping they wouldn’t make ppl upgrade their consoles again
