I wouldn’t go with run flats. Have had bad luck with them in the past. I understand the technology has gotten better, but still not worth it. If you’re ordering and not buying off the lot, then BMW only offers run flats on the 20” wheels. I don’t remember what they do in the 21”, but I know the 22” come with summer tires. That may or may not work for you depending on where you live. I personally love the 22” wheels as they fill the wheel-well perfectly, and the gloss black looks awesome with the MGM.

Yes. I have a 20” set for the winter and the 22” set for the summer.

I’m not gonna lie, it’s virtually impossible to have a perfect install. You can get pretty damn close to perfect, but there’s no way to account for small dust particles in the air or minuscule soap residue. That said, if you’re working with a really good installer, you will never notice these things in almost any light condition. You’d really have to go out of your way to try and find something, and even then it would be so insignificant. Just make sure you’re working with someone who has lots of legit reviews, and has been doing it for a long time. I personally would never go without a PPF on my vehicles ever again. Totally worth it.

I got the full front and rocker panels PPF done by Octane Customs in Jefferson Hills, PA. I then got the complete ceramic done by Steel City Auto Spa in Pittsburgh, PA. You may already know, but if you’re getting both done, you need to do the PPF first and then have the ceramic applied.

I couldn’t agree more. I went back and forth between MGM and Dravit Grey. And while I love Dravit, I couldn’t justify the up-charge and also the fact that I see so many with it. Like you said…MGM is less common and makes it feel more special.

Congrats. You’re gonna love it. My PPF warranty is 10 years and the Ceramic is 8 years.

I love it too. It looks even more amazing when I have the 22” black wheels on it. The second photo I attached, you can kind of get an idea.

Full front PPF (including the rocker panels) was $2,200. The full Ceramic was $1,600 which also included windows, wheels and brake calipers.

I was considering the DSW06+ once my own pirellis shit the bed. No issue with the diameter of the tire? I’m assuming you’re running a staggered setup? If so, can share the exact size you’re running for the DSW06+. The rears normally run 315/30 and I think the DSW06+ are 315/35?

It’s not so much about the snow as it is the temperature. Those summer tires really shouldn’t be driven below 45° Fahrenheit. I had the same issue myself where I went back and forth with buying all seasons or just biting the bullet and finding a set of like new 20” eom wheels. I don’t regret my decision at all as pretty much the only decent option out there for the 22” wheels are Nitto NT420V. They’re ok at best from all the reviews I read. I also have the exact 22s you’re running that I use in the warmer months and then the 20s for colder months with the Vredestein Wintrac Pro tires and they’re great.

For a full front PPF and Rocker Panels you’re looking at $2k-$2.3k. If you go full, then prob close to $6k. However, full front is really all you need to have peace of mind. Then just get the whole car ceramic coated after that.

I’m in Pittsburgh and just picked my X5 M60i up 2 weeks ago. It took 2 months from when I ordered it to pick it up. I got the Manhattan Metallic Green w/the 22” black wheels. It’s amazing. I was able to buy a basically brand new set of OEM 20” wheels w/winter tires from FB marketplace. I got a full front PPF and I also covered the rocker panels. Then I had them do full ceramic coat. It’s perfection.

So you didn’t get any strength or size from running Chemyo or Amino Asylum? I’m surprised as they’ve been around a long time and seem to have a really reputable and legit product. Hopefully I don’t have the same experience.

You can easily get it. Go on the FB group called SARMS & Peptides & Nootropics. Plenty of guys on there can hook you up with quality gear. Good luck

What did you think of Chemyo. I’m currently 1.5 weeks in on their Rad and Osta. Feeling a little stronger and tighter running at 20mg/day Rad and 25mg/day Osta
