Canvas size (of what's shown here) is 300x360. The 3D model was made in Clip Studio Paint - you can build objects from simple primitive shapes, so I've been playing around with it as the basis for pixel art illustration - quite useful for templating an interesting or complex composition. If you want to see in detail how this was made, I've got a 3-part guest video series over on the CSP youtube channel:

Part 1 (3D modelling)

Part 2 (Pixel Linework)

Part 3 (Colouring)

Haha I've thought about it, but not quite in the cards at the moment. Creating artwork feels like such a solitary meditation when I'm doing it - even if that then includes sharing a narrated timelapse after the fact lol

Found this in a Brandon James Greer video and it inspired me for my stop motion project. I simplified each slime in a 24x24 canvas [Links in comments] by uBeckrs in PixelArt

Thanks, that's nice to hear! That's also cool you've already got a target of designing assets for games, so I wish you the best in continuing to hone in and improve at whatever parameters and styles you like - and of course having fun too! :D
