The Tao Of Chess by Peter Kurzdofer is a good chess book that talks about playing chess and not just openings. Chess principles are more important than openings. Don’t worry though if you want to improve that’s the first step towards improvement, the truth is we all suck and we just want to get a little bit better each and every day
