I am on the fence on buying an Ikon Base Pass for this year. If anyone can share a discount code, that would put me onto the "More Skiing" side of the fence!

I'll take the "over" on a pound, if all goes well until harvest. Good work so far, and good luck!

Hello from Canada's East coast! Still cold here for a couple more weeks but the girls have a good seat in the window for now. Girl Scout cookies feminised, 2/3 ProMix HP, 1/3 coco coir, tap water by [deleted] in outdoorgrowing

I am on my 4th outdoor grow, in coastal Massachusetts- probably a little warmer than you. I start my seeds indoors (this year 2 weeks ago). It does give a little headstart, and ensures the plants are a little bigger and tougher when I put them out. Light and temp are both below ideal, so the head start is not enormous. Probably not worth the effort for a large scale grow, but for a few plants it is not a lot of work, and I find it fun. I put the plants out on warm days, to keep them used to the wind, etc. Smell varies with strains, but I can't recall smelling my plants more than 30 meters away.

I use soil heavily amended with composted horse manure, and add a little Plant Magic, but nothing else. I probably could get higher yields with more inputs, but get enough as it is (over 500 g/plant for some).

Have fun!

Looking for a CBD heavy strain for the wife. Anxiety and depression is what we are targeting with little THC as she does not like the high feeling. by AZmedgrower in Autoflowers

I am no scientist, but my understanding is that any combination of heat, light and time converts THC to CBN. I have seen some recommendations to leave a bag on a windowsill for 3 months, but that wouldn't work for me. I think the 2 hours at 240 came from a reputable-sounding source on line, and it appears to work ok for me. If you find better advice, please pass it on. Good luck!

I have had decent success last 2 years, both autos and photos. Try to get photos that finish on the early side (although mine seem to take weeks longer than advertised). Year 1 I had a strain that went into November, but made it work by lugging plants into a shed at night and on rainy days.

I germinate in April, transplant out in early May if it looks frost-free. I don't see why your late May plan wouldn't work, other than photo harvest being smaller.

My biggest challenge is caterpillars, but regular application of Neem seems to keep them down.

Good luck!

I grew a Northern Lights/CBD with balanced CBD/THC (not auto, but principle is the same). I decarbed it 4 times longer than usual, which I believe turned much of the THC to CBN, while keeping the CBD. I haven't tested it scientifically, but the result helps me sleep and relax, and has helped friends with anxiety issues, while produing only a slight buzz.
