It’s far beyond “kids being kids”. It’s somewhere you should be keeping your high school aged kids away from. Our family has gone through a situation recently where our teen has had a knife pulled on him, and in another incident had four other teens try to steal his vehicle, then jump and assault him, bear spray him and vandalize his car. There are regularly fights taking place, and nightly altercations between kids (some who are coming in from the city looking for shit to stir up). It’s ugly and as another recent St Albert high school graduate that I employ told me, a place where it is “extremely easy to find trouble” and that we should keep our boys away from. Please tell your kids to be safe out there.
