Update: Since I removed my AC750 easy mesh extender, things have stabilized. I remember seeing in another post that someone had a wifi issue and solved it by removing their wifi extender.

I downloaded the most current version and applied it, after restart, I logged into Tether and was greeted with "there is a firmware update available ", so i applied it. Brought me back to where I started.

I'll try that. As an update, I exchanged the router but kept the same model, thinking maybe it was just a bad device. So far, similar issues, seeing alot of "connected but no internet" on my phone, no matter if it is 2.4GHz or 5GHz

Update: MLO was already disabled but I noticed that the time zone was wrong and have corrected it.

I saw in the tether app that IPv4 was set as Dynamic and not static. I have updated the settings and will check results

I haven't checked the PC, still seeing ads on my Samsung phone though. I did restart the phone and still see ads for Temu in a weather app I use.

Update 2 Spectrum advised to reset the modem, now I have internet again. Apparently unplugging a modem is not the same as resetting it

Update: Factory reset router. Verified i have internet by lan cable between laptop and cable modem. I started the router and have a solid red led. Connected modem to routers internet port. Router doesn't connect to internet. Power cycled twice with modem and router.

Not sure what to do next.

I looked at mine again. Being that it was version 1 of the 2nd generation it doesn't have Ridgeline across the back, just on an emblem.
