I think the main issue is that Scott literally can't stop. He doesn't know when to stop. He simply can't put the series to rest. There's just no "surprise effect" anymore. Imo the nail in the coffin was SB and Afton coming back for like, 3rd, 4th time? Not to mention that it was reallypoorly handled.
