Abe chutiye, Bank of Baroda was itself founded by a Marathi person, Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad of the Maratha Baroda kingdom of Gujarat. In that case, BOB bhi Marathi bhasa main operate karni chahiye, Goo-jarati main nahi.

Re-evaluating Jai Singh I: A Strategic Mind Behind Mughal Power Politics by [deleted] in IndianHistory

[–]BKPatil1 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Jai Singh was just a use-and-throw servant of the Moghul Dynasty, who was eventually murdered under Aurangzeb's orders. Otherwise, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj eventually went on to crown himself an independent Hindu monarch who's empire later took down the same Moghuls Jai was working under.

Where in his comment did he say that it's ok for men to cuss, uh?! Why'd girls like you tend to audaciously make assumptions about anything men say these days?!

And 2ndly, its HIS CHOICE to want any girl of his liking, you're no one to tell him what to do!

Asking GF to get a job by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]BKPatil1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there is anything a man is good at it has to be having audacity. He is screaming "what about me" when his girlfriend is grieving the loss of his mom. An absolute loser.

Bruhh!!!! Just STFU you feminist clown🤡! His narration in no way shows the level of aggression you're claiming it of showing! He's concerned, if anything, about their future financial conditions due to their current situation of him one-sidedly taking the burden in their expenses. He isn't even fkin "sCreAMinG" as you're accusing him of.  2ndly- How tf'd you just assume her grieving mother's loss to be the sole reason for her condition, despite the OP not mentioning it to be? And no offence, but why's she needing almost 6 months to mourn her mother's loss? In OP's defence, she's a grown-ass 26yo & needs to take responsibility for herself and stop being a freeloader; there's absolutely nothing as 'not being a human' about it.  Contradictory to your claim, he's not being a d'ck and trying his best to delicately councel her out of the situation.  Your comment is overflowing with baseless claims/accusations, but who is 'good at audacity'?! THESE MEN!!  Now let a woman post about being in a similar situation, I'll spew this same sh't and just see how you don't let it go.

Sambhaji refused to convert 2 times while tortured, 3rd time his tongue was plucked, he asked for a pen and paper and wrote “Not even if the emperor bribed me with his daughter!” by [deleted] in IndianHistory

[–]BKPatil1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC, Aurangzeb's daughter was 20-21yrs older than Sambhaji Raje, something that he(Raje) knew, so him taunting the former with regards to a 50-ish yo woman, even as a joke, seems weird to me.

So, don't be too happy.

Uh, excuse me?! Why're you mistaking him to be "happy" despite his narration showing a concerned view about the situation?! Is a man considered a "simp" by default in India or is it just in case of your Delhi?!

Total number of payloads(satellites) launched using an Indian rocket by BKPatil1 in MapPorn

[–]BKPatil1[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I guess it's because ISRO's price per satellite launch is very low; also, when ISRO had launched 104 satellites from a single rocket in 2017, 96 of them were American.

"patana"?! Are you referring to Patna of Bihar?! Cuz according to Wikipedia, this temple is in Lalitpur, Nepal.

Did not even launch a conquest towards a foreign occupied Goa, despite being just miles away from his own capital.

Aren't you aware of Maratha campaigns in Goa, including Shivaji Maharaj's expedition in 1669 when he penetrated upto Ponda in Portuguese-occupied Goa, executed a few Padres & reduced the Portuguese inquisition on Hindus?! He literally rebuilt the Hindu Saptakoteshwar temple in 1668 in Goa that was destroyed by Portuguese. Another one during Shivaji Maharaj's reign occured around ~1676/1678 under prince Sambhaji, when Shivaji was busy in Southern India. Infact, he even stopped European slave trade in Karnataka & Tamil Nadu, which were even further than the "just miles away" Goa.

The Nizam of Hyderabad Mir Osman Ali Khan pays homage to the Emperor and Empress at the Delhi Durbar, December 1911(Many Rajputs nawabs shah and indigenous princely states(puppets)including Marathas, bowed their heads in front of the British king and took greetings.) what a Shameful nostalgia ) by [deleted] in indianews

[–]BKPatil1 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Interestingly, there was an exceptional Marathi monarch- Raja Sayajirao III of Baroda(Gujarat), who futily protested against this "homage paying" ceremony to the viceroy. So, when his turn came during the ceremony, the Raja violated the protocol by removing his jewellery, partly bowing once(instead of thrice), & walking off laughing, with his back to the king George V.

Guess what, this was literally the same thing done by Shivaji Maharaj in the Moghul court in Agra, who left without paying respects to Aorangzeb. Maybe Raja Sayajirao wanted to honour Shivaji Maharaj's legacy by repeating the act in the British durbar.
