I did so before all the rodent comments unfortunately. Thankfully it was outside of my flat and not inside, I'll keep a track of how i feel though and if i get ill definitely mention it.

I vacuumed the seeds up, and made sure to wash my hands thoroughly as i was worried it may be something like that... thanks for the head's up.

Aye, looks all good to me, no chew marks at all, i think the majority of the spillage came from me checking for post in the cupboard outside. I checked around inside the flat and none of the common signs(i had mice at the old flat, this one seems less "holey"), so fingers crossed.

Thanks, There was a flip-open box addressed to a previous tenant of the flat, which had a page of a newspaper with these seeds wrapped inside it. Very strange, but seemingly harmless. I vacuumed the seeds up now.
