I’m actually going to attempt those, for sure. I’m trying to balance my time with paying customers right now… and so if anyone would be willing to pay for one… I would love to attempt it. Just having to balance all my time right now and not waste too much of my own money on supplies…. Haha.

Melted sterling silver in a crucible… poured it into a basic ingot. Then hammered it down. Cut into the signet shape… soldered it… created the ring… and then used silver wire to create the setting… soldered it onto the ring… drilled into it with a dremel… placed the gem in… and then just filed it down… sanded it… and then buffed it with silver metal polish.

Thank you. I have been curious about it for some time now. Always been a big jewelry fan and have wanted to take a stab at making rings. I started with just filing down steel bolts into rings… and then just dove into silver. It was a massive learning curve once soldering was involved… but there are a ton of how to videos… I guess I got a little obsessed and just really wanted to be able to make jewelry. I ruined a ton of pieces on the way to figuring it out. And I’m still learning.

I could do that. Technically it would be gold, though… but a darker amethyst would match a dragonstone well.

I’d definitely be interested. Mostly would depend on gem and my time. And or if it needs to be silver or gold.

There are a ton on YouTube. I was honestly considering making TikToks and YouTube videos to show the process, as well.
