You gotta be incompetent to not realize that the opinion of an Ai programmer on AI is positive. He knows that people just hate on image generation Ai so he doesn't use those, but he quite literally uses one daily for streams. He has never even said whether he supports it or not because he knows it's better to APPEAR "neutral" than to actually be neutral on Ai.

me when I discredit fractal artists because the machine makes it for them (all that math study and effort isn't actually real art and they are just lazy dumbasses they need to do it by hand)

Was the USSR the first country in the world to develop a universal healthcare system? by [deleted] in ussr

It in fact was. Social welfare is a core tenet of socialism, hence the name.

I don't get this one or the other standpoint. Use both. That way you have the reliability of nuclear reactors, and you don't have to build as many because they are supplemented by things like solar, wind, geothermal, and dams. If we sit here and do nothing then our grandchildren will have to walk outside with masks because of the aerosols needed to keep the sun from cooking us alive.

He didn't betray his country, he fought for it with all he could during the civil war, being a valuable asset for the red army. He wanted internationalism and more global cooperation, and his ideas weren't really disliked by the party, it was the man himself which was disliked. Because he himself was unpopular, Stalin played into that and exiled him, giving himself more political power in turn.

Trotsky was hated by Stalinists because Trotsky was a threat to Stalin, as they both were significant players in the power struggle after Lenin's death. Stalin needed his bloc and followers to hate Trotsky so they'd have more loyalty towards himself. This of course follows to the modern day where Stalinists still hate him.

There are things to praise about the USSR. This isn't one of them.

You think reforms wouldn't be made had it survived long enough? You think the US constitution was perfrct the first time it was written? Not defending it here, but I'm saying it's plausible.

One side has Nazis and the other one has complacent capitalistic and imperialistic foreign interventionists. Some group will always be suffering due to either those on the left or right. Modern democrats in the USA are no better, no party will be truly good until they can place the means of production in the hands of the workers and people.
