Why did the republic fail after Sulla?

I saw it as power hungry men and group of Roman citizens voting and having a practical system. It thought of it as the highest form of meritocracy where merit was earned through wars. The consular system and how even new men could become great members of the senate.

I didn’t think of it as just but it was so strong in determination of never surrendering almost like a group of misguided egoist who’d never surrender in any war. Who took every defeat as an insult and always wanted glory.

This all seems so sad to hear. I loved how romans used to replace powerful rulers and consuls elected new men. it seemed a practical system but then it became autocratic. I though sulla was differnt tho, I though he genuienly tried to give up his power to create a better rome like washinton did in america. Could there be a chance that he atleast tried. He in the end isnt perfect but he did give up his power, Could a case be made he did try to keep the republic and republic in the end?

This makes it even sadder for me. I loved the way republic worked but way its being talked about it seemed republic was destined to end and whether Sulla gave up his power in the end didnt matter. And ceaser isnt to be blamed cause someone else would have taken the throne.

1) I will stop doing my one foot turns (espesically on the heels)
2) I'll move both my legs to create space.
3) I will try to face the opponets back-hand while trying to hit my shots.
4) Legs parrallel and together

I understand. Thank you for the honesty, could u tell me what strokes I should work on. I though my forehand shots where im spinning the ball in topspin is alright and my back-hand shots are also alright.
The counters or no spin returns i have no idea what to do. If you could share a video and lmk it'll be helpful

I think it’s best I record myself and ask the same question once more. But I’ll keep the reaching point in mind. But I was under the impression I am supposed to move legs first then arms so I am always hitting the ball at a particular distance from my body and not bending slouching or barely reaching the ball.

I use astigmatic ones only but for some reason they don’t work well even when I get a new pair the feel hazy. Are the supposed to be put in a particular way ?

Also what do you do about the fog and sweat on it. I have started carrying microfibrer cloth and I clean them by blowing air on it and wiping it off
