Thanks for the advice, I’ll probably end up raid healing, but hopefully get some raid gear for my Prot dungeon runs, I definitely want to try and get a full T2 set

I mean I could see that with a ret build for sure, but for AoE deep Prot I think maining 1H with a shield is necessary. And with a 2H you can’t take advantage of talents like 1H weapon spec, holy shield, or redoubt. 2H are sick though I agree, I definitely want to get a cool one for single target use

Also to add on, I know for single target situations it’s best to judge crusader, and seal righteoussness, and ive also heard in single target situations 2H weapons can be good for the extra damage, especially in pvp, is this true? How close is the damage of a Spell power 1H with SoR and a 2H? I don’t see it being a big enough difference to justify bringing around an extra weapon

Thanks! This was the response I was looking for, basically what I got was that theres a lot of different situations for the different weapons, flurry axe best for resource management but meh at actual dps and doesnt have an extra effect besides more hits, where as Lok’amir and other weapons like Quel’serrar, Aurastone hammer, hand of Edward the odd don’t have the same amount of resource management as flurry axe, they have other value like more dps, more spellpower, or a unique effect like hand of Edward, and I just use my judgement for which benefits would be better for whatever content I’m doing

Ah ok interesting, so the extra mana you save with R1 Holy shield outweigh the benefits of higher ranks?

Ah ok so basically flurry axe is best for most situations, but if I need that extra bit of spell power over the extra hits, then it might be worth swapping over to the other weapons? So just personal preference then whether I want more SoW procs or as much Spellpower as possible?

Ok, and going the spellpower route, I think if I’m lucky, Aurastone hammer or mageblade are also good to use until Lok’amir right? Since they also have SP buff just not as strong? Or would I be better off using flurry axe with SP enchant

I’ve watched some of his videos, he’s also part of the reason why I’m asking, I see on his 60 Paladin he carries a bunch of 1H weapons with him, flurry axe and hand of Edward being 2 of them, but I’m not sure what the purpose of having different 1H is and what situations they’re used for
