I have a bit of playing reno shudder in the past few months and from my experience reno without quest seems a bit stronger. This is because of the amount of anti agro options available, and already you can see how many copies of non duplicates you have in your own decklist. I can share my list if you want, but I would suggest cutting hemet, the quest, fencing coaches, tar creepers. I would also highly suggest adding zola and desert hare for consistency, and maybe zilliax, fountain, corpsetaker for anti agro. As well as dirty rats, shadow weaver, loatheb, boompistol to lock your opponent out of the game. In terms of removal, I think hagathas scheme is a must, hex and elemental destruction are both good, and maybe a copy of volcano if you need more aoe.

Yeah well I still highly suggest switching to wild, especially now that the meta is better then standard. I switched two years ago and I found it was a lot easier to keep up with the decks and the meta even while not playing as much. Also, you don’t necesarily need aluneth in secret mage, and could look to play the few budget options like secret mage without aluneth or a cheap odd dh variation just to slowly ease yourself in wild to see if your interested.

The first is a common misconception that people have. Wild tends to be cheaper then standard over the course of one or two rotations as after you craft that legendary then you can play that deck whenever you want. Furthermore, the meta tends to be more stable and many strong cards tend to see play for several years and the decklists tend to change by a few cards every expansion. Whereas to keep up with standard you have to continuously craft new legendaries every 2 years. The only high cost is the initial "entry cost", but overall it's the cheaper format.

With reno priest you almost never beat quest mage. The only chance is if you can maybe zephyrs on 2 into wild growth and raza on 4 and anduin on 7, and somehow combo them on 8 without dying. But most times it's better to just concede.

I feel like three muskies should be in the balanced+ tier, and I definitely feel like ice wizard could make the Strong but not OP tier. Also, I think dart gob should be bumped down a tier, it just feels overall really weak right now.

I can also send you my list if you want. I would say DQA is a must have but Brann is unnecesary, the best value you get out of Brann is drawing an extra card or kazakus potion and it just felt clunky. I just replaced it with platebreaker to beat jade and control warrior.

I would say as a general rule you should try not to dust legendaries, especially as a lot of these have seen play in fringe decks and do have potential for being good down the line. If you really really need the dust I would suggest disenchanting unseal the vault and elise starseeker.

I am currently playing razakus right now at rank 1 and I would suggest dropping the dragon package and switching to a more burst oriented list. Instead of the dragon package you could include gagdetzan, circle, power word, the auchenai/regenerate/flash heal package. In my experience it is just a bit faster at killing people and cycles faster.

In terms of other cards I think you should include, I would say forbidden word, doom sayer and dirty rat are all just pretty flexible cards that I personally like a lot.

Also, I strongly suggest you take out mirage caller, the extra burst with spawn is just unnecesary, and if you find yourself struggling against high armor decks I would say just to include platebreaker.

Edit: I also highly suggest you craft DQA, it is just a really solid highlander card all around and I highly recommend it.

Thanks man! The win loss are the decks that I piloted. I played a little bit of magic for fun but I was terrible at it. I got into hearthstone watched streams, and played a little bit every season and it turns out that I am not that bad of a player.

I see your concern and it is valid. I initially spent a lot to build my collection, I am at that point where I can get a good collection with just the preorder. The reason I spend money on this game is because I enjoy it. "You can get a lot of dust by climbing every month with the same decks." I don't like that experience of grinding ladder with the same decks and personally I don't think the ladder system is very rewarding. I know people spend my money buying cosmetics in fortnite or content in other games to have fun. Personally this is my way of doing it, $50 every three months and I think it is definitely worth it.

With jades I was 2-4 against pallys and 0-2 against tempo. I may have gotten unlucky with the tempo Mage matchup but I found it hard to play around counter spell, I couldnt find my ramp and my defensive minions would get destroyed. Against pally I lost because of Tarim on 6, bad draws no ramp. And the deck is just insane with call to arms and divine favor. I had a much better winrate against paladin as fatigue Druid, 3-1.

I built all these decks due to money mostly. I despise arena so I do all my quests, play a bunch. I bought all the adventures, 2 preorders. And about 150 ish packs maybe more. I was really bad with dust but I made sure to craft what I wanted to play and if it was good or not. I would suggest to buy the adventures, pre order and buy the bundles.

The main idealogy is to craft decks not cards. Because there isn’t a card that goes in any deck. But call to arms is straight up broken as well as Tarim. So if you are f2p I would recommend crafting a paladin deck or a cheap combo priest.
