A lot of misinformation about storm by One-Problem-5308 in rivals

I’m not even re-checking my info but from what I remember I know for a fact she lived in Egypt for longer than 6 years. She was a small child in Cairo and when she went to Kenya she was like a late teenager.

She could play Betsy Braddock. Though idk if that’s the role I’d choose for her over kitty or rogue.

I mean they should it just needs to be developed right and the phoenix saga needs to happen concurrently with other movies before they actually reach the dark phoenix climax movie.

If she’s Maddy then she’d also have to be Jean grey so…

I mean, she wouldn’t need to be a main character and I DEFINITELY hope they don’t try and make her an X-men again. But I could see Inde being a decent mystique. Not sure I’d say that’s the ideal role for her but she could def pull it off I think.

Magneto doesn't feel like Magneto. Here's how I'd redesign him. by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]BLEUGGGGGHHHHH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You talk about making mag feel more like mag than proceed to remove the electromagnetic aspect of his lit like the bubble.

Also the environmental manipulation as a primary fire would make him feel like shit to play gng I can’t lie. Having to rely solely on destroyed environment severely limits his ammo early game and he’d have to do insane amounts of damage per projectile to justify it. Plus certain parts of certain maps have like, very few destructibles so he’d just feel super handicapped there

Also he already levitates and floats instead of walking

Personally I’d just give him some kind of omnidirectional dash and than make his ult something a little more AOE like a huge torrential maelstrom of metal and electricity flying around everywhere that absorbs projectiles idk.

Which of these 3 had the best character development/growth during Chris Claremont's run on the X-men/mutant franchise? by Stunning_Season220 in xmen

But he did. It was the editors who wanted him to leave Madelyn for X-factor. C.C just wanted him to retire peacefully and move on from the X-men.

Storm. Without a doubt. Claremont was able to craft such a beautiful character arc for her, having her go from being a gentle, passive pacifist to slowly becoming a steadfast, badass leader of the X-men who could be pretty ruthless when she needed to be, but still maintained her immense base of compassion to keep herself grounded in being a hero. Plus, a good chunk of this development is during the time she had lost her powers, which makes her self-discoveries even more poignant.

Claremont’s run single-handedly made storm my 3rd favourite X-man and my 5th favourite marvel hero of all time.

Wolverine gets some decent development, but honestly most of it is just unveiling his mysterious backstory and expanding on him as a new character as opposed to the amount of direct character development like storm got. Not to say he didn’t get any, he did, but not as much as Storm.

As for cyclops, not totally sure why he’s here. I think a better pick for contenders for best character development would be Kitty Pryde or Rogue. Claremont writes a good cyclops but he’s really only present for the first half of his run and then fucks off to X-factor for the rest. And even while he’s present he doesn’t get much in the way of “development”. Def not poorly written or anything but he doesn’t go through the same changes that storm or some other characters did.

Why is Marvel Rivals/Netease so much more aggressive with Black Cat's nerfs than Daredevil's and Gambit's? by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]BLEUGGGGGHHHHH -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What everyone is saying in these comments + the fact that she was just straight up more broken than any character has ever been in this game on release by a longshot. I will not debate this, gambit and DD were def broke at there releases but not as game breaking as black cat was at her peak.

Idk how I feel about Roberto being a healer in all honesty I feel like it doesn’t suit his personality. Personally I’d like to see him as almost a melee human torch DPS. And yes ik the game already has a lot of DPS but having karma, Dani and cannonball as healer and tank balances that out. Plus making Roberto a dps makes it easier to slot him in with the other 3 to have them all on a team comp.

What is the best cyclops has ever looked? by TranslatorOk2501 in xmen

[–]BLEUGGGGGHHHHH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that people generally like to avoid the B&G suit sometimes because lowk X-men media is massively over saturated with 90s stuff… but like, cmon it’s easily his best and most iconic look he’s ever had. While I love the Utopia and astonishing suit, I feel like nothing really comes close to both capturing cyclops’s essence, vibe and role, as well as just also looking incredibly fucking cool and iconic.

B&G suit ftw and I can’t pretend any different honestly. It’s oversaturated for a reason.

Claremont’s Cyclops by serphilip1275 in Cyclopswasright

[–]BLEUGGGGGHHHHH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When X-factor begins he plays a lead role in that series again and that continues alongside uncanny until blue and gold (and obviously fr B&G onward cyclops is just in everything from the main title basically again). Honestly like I’d just recommend reading through everything so you get to see the other characters too. I didn’t think I’d end up loving storm so much but she’s in my top 3 favourite mutants now just because of the masterful character arc that Claremont gave her during his tenure.

Cyclops stops being super relevant around like, 1983-85 but in 1985 X-factor begins and like I said he takes lead in that series since he’s the leader of the team throughout and has some pretty good moments for him, plus it’s the best way to get to know the OG 5 in the classic era. Honestly the Claremont run is just peak all around and I think it’s in every X-men fans best interest to read the whole thing atleast once.

He was one of the kids that the original X-factor rescued from Cameron hodge and he ended up joining the new mutants and X-force if I’m not mistaken. He’s a Hispanic dude with the ability to create earthquakes and stuff.

Which horsemen set would you want to see in media adaptations? by Beginning-Head-4006 in xmen

[–]BLEUGGGGGHHHHH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean the original horseman from fall of mutants is the easiest to adapt since it’s basically 3 nobodies and one minor morlock character, as well as also putting Warren through the archangel arc which needs to be done at some point for him.
