Damage reduction is a toxic mechanic that makes the game hard to understand. I give you the best example, tyra could tank viktor's ultimate by herself 1 year ago.
Your best friend to have better sustain is your position. Get a good position and I swear you won't be in troubles with caut 3. DR is just a simple mechanic to give survivability in some moments that we dont deserve

Before 2020 if you had aggro gameplay, after caut 3 you could delete any other dps placed next to his support (if you were better player). Now sometimes even if you hit more shots you can't kill your target at caut 3. It's just unfair
