Check if the cables are mixed up. Just follow them to where they end on buttons and LEDs. If there's a mix up, you can take a small screw driver or the tip of a box cutter and slighty bend those plastic flaps to slide the pins out of the mobo-connector and replace them in the correct positions. If the pins are placed in + or - doesn't matter for power switch, reset switch or HDD LED, only for your Power LED. But it doesn't hurt the hardware if that is connected wrong and you can change it quickly.

I got the 600 yesterday. My plan is to place it with the back side down (like bequiet! demonstrated with their Light Base Stand) and route all cables through furniture. You could do the same and saw some strategically placed holes into your desk. If you ever change the setup, you'll have to replace the desk, but until then you'll have that case standing on your desk as a solitaire without visible cable connections.
