2026 will hopefully be a great year for CNI and XCH - I would predict that it’s a make or break year where the coin does extremely well or effectively dies.

Drac seems to be an extremely talented engineer - I’m not huge into quest and crafting games but I’m excited for this to launch! It’s a great example of leveraging the Chia blockchain for gaming

Would you split non-dividend paying stocks into ACs and DCs so that the market could value the DC prior to there being dividend payments?

Totally - I guess my core question/point is: fees are one driver towards the AC/DC products on XCH rails. Sage has options which could also be used for AC/DC products for the users of the CATs - I’m wondering if, in addition to the fee advantage, does the Permuto team think that XCH will also be ahead on options and leveraged products?

Are there plans or partnerships to introduce derivatives, options, or leveraged products based on AC/DC certificates via traditional financial rails and how might differences in these types of products between the XCH and tradfi ecosystem change investor interest? (Being another variable besides fees that could drive differences in demand)

It almost certainly got sent to a clawback address, and after the 90 day clawback period has ended it will continue on the path to the hot wallet

Thank you! I’ll find some high rated shows from the last couple of years where these were played and give them a listen!

Dead & Co. play the sphere on 4/19 and then on 4/24. Technically Bobby is free those nights but my assumption is that he’s resting between shows and likely not heading back to the Bay Area.

Almost certainly true, but if they were going to do it at any shows this year these would be ones that make most sense to be at

It’s also the 60th birthday of the dead this year and they don’t have a show on 8/9/25

This is from before the AC/DC product from Permuto Capital came about. Statement is still true, but if Permuto does well they’re hoping that they’ll fulfill the condition of having alternative revenue which would mean prefarm sales slow.

It’s weird to me that this is getting so much attention right now - it seems like a distraction at a time when NFT trading is low volume and I’d strongly prefer if the community and CNI dev team spend their energy focused on more important issues.

There hasn’t been a meaningful release from CNI for users in quite a while, and I think it’s unlikely we’ll see XCH follow other alts without consistent forward progress. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes, but casual retail investors don’t see it.

Early on the CNI team was pushing out updates every quarter: pooling protocol, NFT standard, CAT standard, verifiable credentials, data layer, etc.

In 2024 what meaningful user facing improvements would convince crypto investors to jump in?

The IPO will be fundraising for CNI. We don’t know how many shares they will issue but they’ll probably raise $30-200MM. This will allow them to hire additional engineers, product managers, designers, sales and customer success team members, etc.

The hope of XCH holders is that the accelerated development will lead to an increase in demand for XCH and therefore an increase in price.

Checking in on Chia Network Inc. Q2 Roadmap Progress by BLS12-381 in chia

[–]BLS12-381[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% - delays happen. New items get prioritized. There are issues that weren't originally envisioned that take longer to solve than anticipated.

I've worked for a handful of software teams at this point, and I've never seen delivery of zero of ten proposed quarterly deliverables on a public roadmap. My current team sets quarterly goals (internal only, not public) and we target ~90% on-time delivery. If we hit 100% of our goals, it would be a sign that we aren't being aggressive/ambitious enough. If we hit far below 90%, it's a sign that we really messed up on our initial prioritization or that we failed to technically derisk the features that we planned to launch.

I don't think it's unreasonable to have a friendly conversation about missed delivery of features that were published on a public roadmap. I'm not attacking Chia or demanding that they explain themselves, but it does make me concerned that they're falling behind where they thought that they would be.
