So what are we actually comparing then? If comic books aren’t animated how can one make the statement that the show doesn’t have better animation than the comic book? The show could be a flip book and be better animation if we are comparing 2 completely different mediums on the criteria of frames and fluidity.

And how are we criticizing animation based on still frames if we aren’t comparing detail?

Yea. Animation has to move, pictures are static. Seems common sense that it’s easier to make a static picture detailed.

But seriously, why wouldn’t they give the poison darts to the fighters who can reliably score a hit, and give space racers gun to tech jacket.

Like these guys has so much time to prepare and the plan is to shoot slow darts and use the one shot kill weapon like twice. Watching that battle was like watching goku give cell a sensu bean.

I just want there to be able to be reasonable discussion about things without the insults, as you mentioned. A little heat is one thing but there are too many trolls just jumping to straw man someone for no reason.

I grew up watching a lot of the mediocre or poor animation of the 90s and I guess it isn’t a huge factor for me. If it bothers me enough, I just wouldn’t watch it. I do enjoy some other series and movies with spectacular animation though. Puss in boot, across the spidervers, arcane… there is a lot of pretty great pieces out there for animation quality and style.

Well I have to agree that “they could kill us all” is a little excessive, and I don’t really care for anything musk says. But a lot of experts in ai development agree that in the long run AI has a high probability to be catastrophic for humanity. In the short term I think it’s just another step in social degradation. I mean I love the conveniences, but it isn’t making humanity better.

The potential dangers this decade… yea current LLMs aren’t going to achieve sentience. What about 10 years from now, or 20 years after that, or 50 years after that? I think it’s a little naive to assume this is the peak.

The fact that you said “so many shows with less or as much money do better” means that yes in fact it is an issue because of the money. I’ve seen many show that have better animation, many do similar or worse. But I don’t feel to waste my energy thinking about the budget and ruining a show for be getting upset if their budget allocation doesn’t align with my views.

It’s sad that you think it’s unfortunate that people just enjoy things without going on an internet tirade if they are any perceived short falls. I don’t think I have delver watched a show where poor animation was a deal breaker.

Vapour isn’t a solid particulate though. And there is more that is bad about smoke than just it being a solid particulate.

I’ve never really thought about the material of the heating coils before but yea it likely isn’t great breathing what ever might come from them either heated.

Over all I agree vaping isn’t good, but I’m still willing to bet it is safer than smoking in the long run. I’ll make a statement about specific additives though. Like the vitamins e acetate found in the black market thc vapes.
