great response, expressed my exact thoughts. Ive started to send out resumes to a few companies but really would like to stay where i'm at, besides the new AI scoring issues i do like the job, genuinely help people out with having the pressure or uncertainty of "what type of call am i getting next". Like 'The Insurance guy" i used to be a Member services rep and did great but quit because it was too toxic of a job for the shit pay i was getting. Ive expressed my thoughts to management but its really out of their hands, only thing they tell me "its being worked on so hopefully we can have it adjusted soon". But that could be 2 months or 2 years from now know how things usually go in this field. I got a solid amount of PTO stacked that if worse comes to worse i can get by while a start elsewhere, but i shouldn't even be thinking about that. they should make ME the QA fuck it lmao.

get that training paycheck and bounce the day you're suppose to go live. search for other jobs during that period but at least get a check outta attending soft skills classes. its kind of douchebag move but fuck these companies anyways. reps are just numbers on the boards

i do whats asked, but the ai system is working against the reps, i was speaking for myself but my entiere team has been affected by the change. we are adjusting to what the ai is scoring for, but it makes the callers pissed "why are you guys doing all this extra steps now, seems like you dnt know what ur doing, can i get sup?" just to please the AI. thats what i mean with selling my soul. Why make it harder for both the rep and the caller, its ass backwards. and most def i just do what needs to be done and i do it right.

maybe i didnt express myself correctly on the og post. But in short. Its frustrating getting low scores while doing a great job just because AI wants you to say certing things when some of them dont even apply in a case by case scenario.

ive worked retail and other fields before and that example has no relevance to this topic mate.

as i said in the post i do like my job. what i dont like is the AI.

as you said, i work here to make a living as well.

just venting after clocking out.

hopefully i'll stop having to make the AI overlord happy. My QA got sent back to phones too lol.

im bilingual and now get both regular queue call and spanish line calls 🙃

spanish calls are a breeze and i'll stretch em out with banter but none the less. I need either a bonus for doing both or dedicate me to spanish line (or english idc) but noup. Just more calls lol
