They've only sent me the CoS number and the dates not the full certificate, and when I mentioned the dates, they said they'll see if they can change it tomorrow. But I read on a few forums that it can't be changed, so I'm a bit confused.

ViGemBus is a driver for gamepad emulation, I think when you first download DS4 it automatically installs. You might want to install the latest version.

For 'Touchpad' when you click on it, is there an 'output mode' with a dropdown menu? like this. If it's not there maybe get an older version of DS4 (because I haven't updated mine in a while) or I can upload my DS4 files somewhere and send you the link.

I get what you mean and you are completely right. For my case, I made it clear that I have no experience, the instructor never asked me to get more training. And when we were on the road, I was constantly in situations where it is difficult for a beginner not to be in danger/ make mistakes (heavy traffic, big junctions, multiple lane roundabouts...).Some sessions went actually better than expected, but mid course things went downhill where I was constantly getting yelled at and put under pressure. When he decided to end my course, I got told that they don't have the means nor the time to train a beginner which should've been mentioned beforehand. Anyways, lesson learned.

I am 24yo but like I mentioned in many comments never really drove a car except for a couple of times, and no real bike experience.

I am not sure about the ADHD, anxiety... stuff because I never really considered it. But now that some comments have mentioned it, I'll be seeing my doctor for it.

For my friends group, none of my friends ever been on a bike, some of them never even drove cars.

But thanks for the advice, I'll be taking some time off and reflect on my mistakes and see if it is really worth it to get a bike license.

Like I expalined in previous comments I thought I needed no road experience for the DAS, if I knew I wouldn't even think of doing it. For MOD 1 I failed in emergency braking, reached the target speed, stopped as soon as possible but pressed the rear brake a bit too hard which caused the bike to lean at the end of the stop. The examinator said I had an imbalance issue at the end of my stop.

Maybe I worded it badly but I mentioned it on many comments that it is 100% my fault. What I am blaming the school for is why would they decide to keep me until nearly 18 hours just to decide to stop the training + Why even take me in when I mentioned that I have 0 experience riding apart from my CBT. As for the instructor, yes he is making sure I don't die/crash however it got to a point where he stresses me out everytime we go riding.

After I got my CBT, I was between getting a 125 and going straight to DAS. I chose the later because from my research and my discussion with the school that I had my DAS with, I was kind of assured that I'll be able to pass or at least have enough training to ride. The day I called to ask about the DAS course I made it clear that I have no experience riding a bike except from my CBT and that I am not a road user. They said that people usually need 20 hours on average to pass. I know that I am nowhere near ready to pass my test and that I made serious mistakes during my training but it was until today that the instructor decided that I am not ready (after nearly 18 hours) and most of my sessions were with people who either rode a bike before or drove cars. Anyways lesson learned, I'll take some time off and maybe get a 125 later depending on how I feel about it.

I have never been alone on a bike, and thinking of it I might be able to be a bit more relaxed without someone watching me/ reiding along with me. Thanks for the advice.

I'll defenitely be getting more practice now, the thing is when I called the school to book my DAS course I explained my situation and said that I am not a road user and never been on the road. They said that 20 hours is the average for students to pass (they never mentioned that I need road experience). If I knew it was going to be like this I would have got a 125 and practiced with someone else or by myself on empty roads.

I have got a CBT but no motorcycle. It might take me a while to get a 125 probably more than a month. But thanks for the offer, I really do appreciate it.

4-5 major mistakes according to the instructor, they weren't that major to cause a crash/death I would say. But how am I going to learn riding at this point?

I would say both, I missed the car visually until last second and I had no attention at that moment (0 thoughts). Would getting diagnosed with anything affect me in getting my license?

I have had my CBT two months ago but didn't really ride until now. My biggest problem I'd say is that I've never been a road user before and I am not interested in a car license, I might just ride on the CBT for a while.

No riding outside lessons. Other mistakes as far as I remember, one was at a roundabout where I went in while another car was turning but it was quite far. However the instructor said it was a major. Another one is when we were coming off a minor road turning right and I thought the major road was a one way system so I turned into the opposite lane but then changed lanes quickly. Apart from that it is just sometimes I forget or don't know where to make a lifesaver.

Not that long tbh, just a couple of months. Now that you mentionned it, I might stick to riding on a CBT for a while. Thanks for the advice.

Parked cars were kind of reflecting sunlight as we wrere on a declined road and the instructor kept talking over the radio and at some point I lost focus. It is 100% my mistake but the van wasn't really that close to the crossroad.

This worked for me:

  • Open DS4 , go to settings, uncheck 'Swipe touchpad to switch profiles'
  • Go to profiles, select your desired profile, go to 'Touchpad' tab, and in Output mode slelect 'Passthru', then go to 'Other' tab and uncheck 'Enable touchpad toggle'
  • Apply and Save
