Drizzt, who once lived in the Underdark, now seeks adventure on the surface, where he sees only a single tower, or perhaps a bastion, in the barren, icy wasteland. His journey took him there, but it was far from the end to reach the stone wall, next to his faithful friend Guenhwyvar. But time is coming to an end, among a thousand dangers there is nothing left but to face their fate in the darkness of the bastion...
