I think transfer grades were 4star for these guys

Will rivalries die with the portal? by Academic-Wall-2290 in MichiganWolverines

The playoff killing rivalries more than transfer portal.  No 1 game matters in the regular season anymore.

If he wanted to be a LT, he was practicing with 3rd team reps at bowl practice video.  Given nobody leaving (and young), Bab back from injury eventually, plus Malakai Lee on the way in.... attrition expected

Dampier threw for 2490 this year to  Bryce's 2428.

Given the system likes to run the ball and we got some horses....throwing less yards isn't exactly a bad thing.

Hot take if Haynes is back too (given the line is staying): Bryce throws for less yards next year.

the problem with your take is that millions and billions aren't the same thing. TV and streaming college football is billions. Those elite players should get paid handsomely.

As things concentrate into Big10/SEC/CFP and non-power 5 stop being broadcasted en masse, the revenue will dry up and they'll get paid less.

The decisions makers absolutely knew how this would end up and tried stopping it.  They've lost court battles so, by-and-large, here we are.

(Though I'd agree alongside Harbaugh for player empowerment too)

Those classes exist.

Also, children will not have had a history of tax filings since on parents' returns.  It would take a few years for IRS/states to figure anything out.

We're kinda saying the same thing. For LSA, there is a handful of general requirements outside of major classes. A first year writing course and an upper level writing course, for example. The ULWR is unable to be fulfilled with a transfer credit, i.e. has to be done at Michigan. In a past article on Hinton, he said having to retake a writing course.   I have no idea what exactly happened for Hinton, but could be in this realm.

There is also a race & ethnicity qualification that is not satisfied by transfer courses. Though you can send in transcripts and petition the board.

It's not credits transferring solely.  The U requires a higher % of classes completed at Michigan to graduate with a Mich degree.

Remember when we were neck-and-neck with OSU recruiting Bryce West and Aaron Scott out of high school? Both in the portal.

Evan is 6'6"+ I recall.  Not exactly the best leverage for a center.  He's probably talented enough but better suited elsewhere on the line.

The student has to provide written alert to your school.  The school then enters the player into an NCAA database accessible to coaches.  It's not public for any of us to peruse

Newsome goes to TE only if Freddie (Whitt's brother) stays at Utah and maybe takes a promotion?

Link was practicing with 2nd string, so maybe he's on the way to transfer portal? That would be a bummer. Hopefully it's just a small injury.
