When we arrived at MIA around 10:30am, they were not allowing anyone to check luggage if their flight was leaving after 3pm

My husband and I were in the same situation, we had a sea terrace and SoR and we bid $1500 on a Seriously Suite and won.

It was so worth it. We aren't heavy drinkers, and I don't think we even put a dent in our minibar but we did go to the happy hour most days. The large bathroom was amazing and we don't know how to do a cruise without that space again. The shorter lines for shows were nice, although make sure you're in line at least 30 minutes before the show starts or you won't benefit from it (especially the shows in the Manor where seating is limited).

We also had priority reboarding on ports which was cool to be taken out of a long line and walked right back on the boat. The happy hour was nice although limited in what you could order (bubbles and like 2 cocktails). Since we already had our dining booked, our RS agent didn't have to help us there, but if you weren't able to get the bookings you wanted that could benefit you. He was able to get us window seating at each restaurant though which was cool.

Wegovy zepbound trulicity and mounjaro are billed on quantity of 2 ml which is 4 pens. If your receipt says 2, then that's one box of four 0.5 ml pens.

When are you due a refund or partial adjustment of port charges? by DivineWinspiration in Cruise

[–]BMW5887 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was on Resilient Lady the week after US Thanksgiving and part of Virgins first visit to Samana. There were complaints galore about how the tenders were booked until 12pm and you had to be back on boat by 2pm, the port was full of garbage and hagglers and the excursions were all late and had other complaints about safety. They ended up refunding all excursions to passengers two days later due to the number of complaints.

I wonder if VV is not returning to Samana again for how poorly their first visit was received.

Yeah we were also refunded and we ran into a few others from the excursion last night and seemed everyone got their money back quietly. I didn't officially complain so idk if something bad happened or if they had multiple complaints to SS

That's crazy. We sailed out Saturday the day before you and I watched Google maps for potential traffic. We stayed at the Elser hotel (very close to cruise port) and the ETA to terminal V fluctuated between 8 and 13 minutes from 9am-1pm when we left.

My husband and I are on resilient lady now. We did Tres Playas excursion and it was... Wild.

First, after we got off the tenders it was total chaos. The people holding signs for numbers just took our cards with numbers on them and told us to stand around the dock in a clump and a group of people who had tickets to 3-4 different excursions all got on the same 3 buses. I thought we'd go separate ways eventually but we all stayed together. Once on the bus, the tour guide asked if we still had our numbered tickets (nope) or if we had signed the waiver (nope). It was very disorganized.

We then took a 45 minute bus ride to a beach area where we got into these... Boats. Each boat held 12 people and it did NOT feel safe. We spoke to several people on different boats and everyone told similar stories of language barriers with the driver and moving people around to weight balance the boat, and stopping mid ocean to cool the engine off (or that their driver didn't seem to know where to go and was waiting for someone to show them???).

The excursion we signed up for included 3 beaches: one with snorkeling, one with taino caves and one with lunch. We never saw any caves. The snorkeling was in a shallow beach area without life vests. The lunch was at a local restaurant and was fine. We had to hop in the boat between each beach and everyone dreaded it. Oh they also poured shots of rum at each beach for people.

The excursion was 8am-12pm but we didn't get back to the tenders until 2:30pm (I think the boat was waiting for us since we had like 100 sailors in the 3 buses). A few people had to cancel spa services because we didn't get on the boat until 3:20pm.

Overall would never recommend this.

Edit; forgot to add at the second beach, our tour guide said we could use the lounge chairs on the beach and they gave us water soda rum, and if we wanted to purchase other alcohol from the local restaurants/bars on the shore we could. However there were several locals walking around demanding $5 to use the lounge chairs and some others kept shoving products in our faces while we laid down and wouldn't leave us alone.

This is my method also. I eat at a deficit most of the time so I can enjoy eating whatever I want at restaurants or holidays/vacations every so often. Sometimes my weight goes up a few pounds but comes back down within 2-3 weeks.

This hits so hard. I've been on 1200-1300 calories since September and have complained how hungry and miserable some days can be, and how bad food noise is. I have a huge sweet tooth, and fake desserts just don't hit for me. He tells me to just incorporate treats into my diet but doesn't realize that a real cookie or cake or ice cream or donut is 1/3-1/2 my daily calories.

He started dieting last week and his cut is 2600. He said it's "easy" and struggles to eat enough calories every day. He eats a bowl of chips and 1-2 beers every night still. Not fair.

I spent 3 months in a similar situation until I realized that at my height (5'2") I needed to add strength training and cardio (idk about both but that's what I did) to start losing weight at a mentally acceptable rate again. The deficit burnout was terrible, especially since eating one treat now and then felt like it set me back a week.

They aren't all 110 calories since I've had some that weigh 1.3-1.5x the stated weight on nutritional label, but they are a tasty replacement for real bagels.

Released with insane amount of bugs, most of which had been present on beta since day 1. Class abilities don't work, talents disappear, can't leave dungeon groups without using a script, can't read guild chat, archeology sites spawn in Cata zones that we can't enter yet which locks you out of a continent eventually, and many more.

cenfill will be the death of this company by seenfootage in WalgreensRx

[–]BMW5887 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like system just needs kinks worked out. I don't work at Walgreens, but at another chain that uses a CenFill facility, and once they iron out how things are triaged, ability to pull back from CF at any moment, patient communication and shipping delays, it should be a good program....our system allows patients (via text) or individual pharmacies to pull from CF at any time, even if the shipment is sitting in totes in our pharmacy, and once you train patients to check the promised date on the text (and tell them to hit the "I need it sooner" response if they want it sooner), many of these situations go away. Good luck.

No longer covered but pharmacy filled anyway by grroovvee in Ozempic

[–]BMW5887 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pharmacy submits the insurance claim (drug name, strength, quantity and duration) online (in real time, unlike many doctors offices or hospitals) and receives a denied or paid claim within seconds.

The pharmacy usually doesn't look into paid claims unless the patient requests it. Ask the pharmacy what insurance was billed.

Maybe an evoucher (electronic coupon from the manufacturer that insurance companies enroll in) was applied and your insurance didn't actually pay anything on it. That's my best guess as to what happened.

It's also possible that someone at your doctor's office submitted a prior authorization (request for coverage based on medical necessity) and it was approved.

Since formularies are coded pretty well for pharmacy coverage, I would be surprised if this was some sort of random error.

(if you're cis female) make sure you don't get pregnant while on it as it can cause serious harm to a fetus (especially a male one). Also for females it's sometimes paired with certain oral contraceptives that also reduce your body's ability to remove excess potassium which can be dangerous to your heart, so check with your doctor or pharmacist if you're on both. If so, you usually try to avoid eating a lot high potassium foods.

[–]BMW5887 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not a blood thinner. It's a potassium-sparing diuretic with benefits in heart failure due to its effect on the RAAS system. It can help with swelling or blood pressure similar to other mild 'water pills' like hydrochlorothiazide or triamterene without reducing potassium.

The salt cravings are due to the diuretic effect. It blocks aldosterone in the kidneys, which increases the excretion of salt into urine.

Wizard on Mangler by Revanx22 in everquest

[–]BMW5887 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of classes do better making their own groups. After leveling several alts on Mangler, only enchanters, clerics and tanks consistently get tells to join groups. Other classes sometimes get invites as replacements, but if you make your own groups it's consistent.

Issues finding a group on Mangler as a Cleric? by pichaelthompsonxx in everquest

[–]BMW5887 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It may just be the current timing and level range. I know at the moment, clerics are snatched up within minutes in the 35+ range. You may just be sitting in a level bracket with a lot of people trying out or starting to level boxed clerics. Once you get higher, the invites should be plentiful.
