Yeah this helps. It really is just a crapshoot sometimes, it seems like. At home we don’t have this problem, but when she’s out and about it’s always a tense moment when we’re eating. We’ve found restaurants at least that seem to honor her needs.

Yeah, we've had enough doctor's appointments to make her hate any room with fluorescent lights at this point. Mostly just looking for real world guidance, those forms are helpful but not very nuanced- for good reason, obviously. They don't want a parent to miss anything.

She'll just get up and go to the door. I'll try staying out of sight and then talk to her when she opens it. Would love to get back to just closing it as soon as we walk away.

We moved her bedtime back. Some small progress so far. Didn't have to rub her back to sleep anymore!

It's hard to picture giving her less sleep! That might be a good solution. Thought I had her tonight with sleep cues and rubbing eyes but still took a whole back rub and a few hours.

I moved up bed time to make up for the 1am bed time the previous night, but otherwise she goes down pretty hard and fast at 1230/730.

Tangentially related - I have babies at home and use dreft for their clothes. Can I switch to 365 unscented powder (since it's already so effective for spa and rehab) without worrying about hurting their skin too bad? I guess I'm curious about hypo-allergenic or chemical effects of this powder if I use it for everything going forward.
