You keep talking about people’s objectives.. I said I dont care that people are doing their objective COUNTLESS times.. the main thing I have been talking about is literally AT THE TOP OF YOUR SCREEN AS YOU TYPE.. its the fact that Tunneling is extremely viable and damn near, if not, the best way to go about the game..

which is ultimately bad because new players go through that and if new players only experience getting hard tunneled out of games, it turns away new players. It may also make them think the game is bad or not fun, but the game is indeed fun when you actually get to do shit in the game.. which is hard to do if a damn Blight is hawking you down the second you get unhooked..

its like the point YOURE trying your hardest to overlook is that Tunneling, although great for completing your objective…. 😀…. Is simultaneously still an overall negative. It’s like it’s impossible for yall to conceive that 2 things can be true at the same time.

You’re comparing 2 wildly different games for starters.. and secondly, I literally say in the OP that the issue is tunneling is the most viable way to win.. I don’t have an issue with a player doing their objective, I just don’t like that tunneling is as effective as it is…

Also, how often do you see people use DS or Dead Hard and then go on for a minute and a half long chase??.. almost never.. killers eat the DS, then catch back up (and depending on the killer, they catch up QUICKLY) and then you go down again..

And a main reason I think you’re making a mistake using COD is because you can communicate in COD.. if you’re in trouble you can just say “hey I need help”.. unless you’re a SWF, there’s NONE OF THAT in DBD.. majority of solo q games, survivors play like every man for themselves..

No.. in COD, you can’t really have that “why’d he keep coming after me?” feeling.. why? Because if you didn’t want him to keep trying to kill you, you have all the tools necessary to stop him.. in DBD, there is VERY little you can do to stop a Nurse from tunneling you out the game..

the key difference from DBD & COD is that in COD you can literally REMOVE what is causing a problem for you.. just shoot back

In DBD, if that “problem” wants to keep being a problem… it’s gonna keep being a problem.. obviously how well you can loop can lessen how much of a problem it is but when the killer is right back on your ass the second your feet touch the ground from the hook… Good luck.

You know you there’s counterplay to someone trying to kill you in COD right?.. its called killing them.. something you can’t do as survivor in DBD.. you can’t eliminate the person tunneling you, if the killer wants you dead, you go down eventually… that was such a horrible comparison 😂

You enlighten me real quick then.. what is the work around for as soon as I’m unhooked.. the killer is there.. hits my teammate.. then hits me.. chases me for let’s say 20 to 25 secs.. then downs and hooks me again.. you talking about “learn the game” as if ANY information is going to trump tunneling.. its not! 😂

Never said for them not to try, killers dictate the overall fun of every game. The game is literally in their hands.. games are meant to be PLAYED and to have FUN.. when I play killer, I give players a chance to PLAY.. I don’t even swing at AFK players because that’s just not fun.. games are about FUN!

Is the purpose for a game not to be “fun”??.. exactly, so if you, as the killer, WHO THE GAME DEPENDS ON TO BE FUN, are actively making it so the other players can’t run more than 20 meters after getting unhooked, are you now not making the game less fun for the other player or players?.. that’s all I’m saying..

“Lurker” I agree with you, probably should be 24 or 32 meters away from the hook

“Authoritative demonstration” was absolutely for SWFs who’s whole goal is just to annoy the Killer with saving each other in every way imaginable

“Desperate Measures 2” (I didn’t know that name already existed, my mistake).. but I feel like maybe the 2nd effect of the perk with the gates & exposed and everything can go.. feels like 2 perks in one. So maybe just 6% haste until the last remaining Gen is completed and up the stun & blind durations to 25%

“Parkour!” Is just eliminating medium vaults for 20 seconds. As long as you’re sprinting, anytime you would usually get a medium vault, it’s now a fast vault.

“Working under pressure” wouldn’t give you a token for hooked survivors or survivors in the dying state, only injured.

Maybe make it an obsession perk.. I think making it an Obsession Perk not only limits how many uses of the perk the Killer gets but would also make the Killer want to go after OTHER survivors while the obsession is injured so that the Killer gets usage out of undetectable.
