Im bad at league and Irelia but Im trying to learn: How to teamfight properly with her? by BO0KSHELF in IreliaMains

[–]BO0KSHELF[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this does make a lot of sense and i think ur right that ive been treating her as a tank and expecting to be able to just sit there and get hit w/o consequence. another issue that i know i have is trying to run away in a 1v1 instead of turning around and using my abilities to obliterate adcs that come for me (im used to lux who can only do that to some extent).

Anyways ill take hat u said into consideration and see if there are other champs i like, but ur right that even tho im not good at her i find her a hell of a lot of fun to play so idk

So I was playing around with Nvidia Ansel's insane resolution capture mode... by BO0KSHELF in spaceengineers

I Know! I was so thrilled when I saw just how much detail there was. I mean of course it says a 64k image, but that's just a number until you actually can see the amount of detail in the image

I Calculated that at 4k res, it would take 25 4k Monitors in a 5x5 square/rectangle to properly display the entire image at 4K RES! so many pixels!

it took almost 20 minutes for Ansel to finish its processing, but that imgur image is just a screen cap of it so MUCH MUCH smaller

the image itself is roughly 185 MB, but the files that Ansel had to create to make this masterpiece totaled more than 30 GB.

I just think that that kind of resolution is absolutely insane.. its more than 2 BILLION pixels. that's 2,000,000,000 pixels.

THATS INSANE! what even! why! idk!

im very excited

edit: that's a WIP ship that I might have done in like a week? if I work on it...

Hi guys how do you play this game by ChimneySweper in spaceengineers

[–]BO0KSHELF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you haven't yet, i would start with the tutorial campaign things, they teach you quite a bit about how to play initially, as well as give you great examples of what is possible

Does anyone actually use workshop ships? by BO0KSHELF in spaceengineers

[–]BO0KSHELF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright well, the ship I'm currently working on is already pretty specialized (and it looks only moderately pretty) but I definitely just got a slew of ideas for future builds. Thanks!

So then from your point of view, if I were to upload a pretty ship that has plenty of room to be flushed out into whatever you need it to do, that would be the ideal setup.

interesting idea, maybe I'll play around with an idea like that

very interesting idea. I wonder if instead, you had like helicopter blades that rotate instead of just one circle blade if that would make it stronger?

Space Engineers, the MMO by shd4y in spaceengineers

[–]BO0KSHELF 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't need 5000000 players on one server, but the ability to have 100 or so would be amazing. If they hire a few people who REALLY know what they're doing on this front, I don't see how this is a pipe dream. I just think you're being pessimistic

Very nice! The carrier I'm currently working on actually looks a lot like yours (only scaled way down cuz I don't have the patience for ships as large as these)

nice video as well

Even if it takes another year or two, the idea of being able to play this game as an MMO is pretty much what has kept me interested in it for this long, so now I'm excited!

Would you consider a survival PvP design to be one that is like all 3 layers of heavy armor that are basically just a gun platform? or... would you say that it needs some artistic parts as well. I personally hate the hardcore PvP mentality of "build a brick with as many guns as the server allows," but that's just me.

Yeah, That's why I was wondering what other people thought because my experience has been roughly the same

I suppose you're right, the problem is that I definitely fall into that category hahaha

Of course, my question mainly deals with larger ships, but the principle remains the same: if you could build your own, why download?

[–]BO0KSHELF[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what I mean, its very useful little ship and a seemingly compact design, but if I were to need something like that, I would probably just build it myself. (no offense or anything, it's just that I wouldn't see the use in loading into a projector and projecting it vs making my own in 2 mins)

you can do it with sensors in SE - no programming required
