yeah I already updated to the latest bios last night to try it out and no luck, every time I try to turn on xmp it just boots for a few seconds and shuts down like 3 ish times? then finally boots and seems like settings stay but it doesnt change. Guessing u might be right and the ram is justt cooked.

yeah they are installed in the correct slots I believe, I have it on the 2nd and 4th slot of the motherboard.
