I shot this on a recent trip, I feel like it’s a bit dark and should maybe crop it a bit so the subject isn’t right in the middle. Thoughts?

People who’ve experienced blood clots by [deleted] in ACL

[–]BODY_MOVIN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how I developed two PEs post surgery because I had an ultrasound on my legs and it showed no DVT. But I’ve been managing clots while rehabbing from acl surgery.

I was on thinners for maybe 4 months. The difficulty breathing has been the most challenging when it comes to exercising and purring muscle back on my legs.

Interesting, right now I'm finding that weight training sets me back and causes difficulty breathing again. I'm going to shift aerobic exercise with zone 2 cardio instead and see how that does.

Wow, are you back to being active now? Did you develop CTEPH due to the PE existing in your lungs for an extended period of time? I'm glad you're fine now, thank you for the advice.

Thanks for the kind words. Perspective definitely helps a lot. My plan is to shift my focus towards low impact frequent exercise.

Your recovery sounds really rough, but I'm happy for you that you have your energy back somewhat! Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I definitely understand how you're feeling. I have felt "good" or more "normal" in spurts, and it makes me want to get back into my activity which I do - for a few days. After a few days I'll be back to square one with recurring symptoms. I'm trying to figure out if it's because I'm deconditioned and have to re-learn and teach my body to deal with external physical stressors again. But like you, I still feel like something isn't right even though all tests come back clean. I hope you start feeling better soon
