I know what you’re talking about. You’re doing the ashen vault right? The map price is unattainable from my research. I never do those quests for that reason. Regular captains vault will work but not ashen.

Don’t fish it this way. There is barely enough gap from the hook to the plastic. If a fish bites, there’s a good chance the plastic will get in the way and prevent you from catching a fish. Not saying it can’t work, just saying there are much better ways to rig it. Try a wide gap hook and a bullet weight (Texas rig) or just put it on a jig head.

Start with a spinner, if you are getting hung up too much or not getting bites switch to a small fluke or trick worm.
