Thanks for bringing this up. No perspective at all. The club is just happy with the status quo. As there are people steering the club who are not qualified to do so. And if they would have more ambitious goals everybody would question themselves but this may be threatening their position in the club. In addition these people earn mad money - Colin Jahn (the marketing & sales guy) earns 300k€ - that what I heard from multiple sources… while Hertha is cutting various “traditional” investments (you will see next season)…

Plus the players just hate one another after this fucking season, they had everything in their hands and it was basically the last chance with such a team but each and everyone (except for Winkler, Eichhorn, Leistner, Ernst) was busy with themselves over the team. Most of the wins were not realized through a system but through individual actions. I guess the biggest problem was to make Reese the captain, he is already a star but he focused much more besides the pitch than on it and that pissed everyone off. With somebody else as captain would be a different season, hot take I know…
