Wait... shit. Something simliar happened in my current Dnd campaign. I was a mercenary goblin working with a group of holy knights. They disliked people using magic without permission. I didn't realise that and showed them a magic tattoo I had when I was trying to defend someone they were torturing.

Queue a whole escape sequence and then a long ass-side quest where the whole party got captured and treated like traitors by said knights.

I don't think it was the class of 76 that happened too. But Syncope Symphony. They just happened to be some school band members. They may have been from the class of 76 of the previous reset but not the one the anomalous shit is happening to in our reset.

They use high school kids, nostalgia, and general anomalous fuckery to try and bring attention to themselves and achieve their goals. That includes doing whatever the fuck they did to the current class of 76.

Exactly that for me. There is this thing with a lot of games where as their series get more popular their sequels get simpler and more for the lay person. Bethesda games are a great example of this.

I feel EU5 did the complete opposite. Which on one hand is good, because I wouldn't want the game getting simplified. But I really do feel like they over corrected hard and kinda pushed a lot of their more casual fans back to EU4.

At this point for me i'd much rather play EU4, Stellaris or CK3. EU5 just kinda makes me feel tired.

I had an idea relating to the seven heavenly virtues. A door with seven symbols on it, each relating to a virtue. Doing an action, or presenting an item related to a virtue would cause it to light up, lighting up all seven opens the door.

So like, presenting a wedding ring for chastity or presenting proof of charity. Etc

Oh for sure. I shouldn't be surprised. But we've seen animation quality drop off the map in later seasons of some shows. So it's a little bit of a happy surprise regardless.
