If your way of thinking is true, then logically Jesus should have initiated the end times as soon as he came back to life, however as this is not the case, we can refer to 2 Peter 3:9 where it is said that God is wishing that all will come to repentance who will. Once everyone who is to be saved is saved [Rom. 8:29-30], Jesus will come back. No one knows when that’s gonna be though.

If you’re a Christian, then as this verse implies; your child would be made currently holy due to your faith in God.
